Thanks for that. So it seems the reason is because it was comparable or higher than The Long Memory feat. But technically, we don't know the details of how it works, such as how fast kinetic energy is stored or even how long he's had it. Not to mention that not every lifetime is equal in length considering he could be killed. Finally, that feat didn't even use all of the energy stored, only enough to destroy the whale since Oscar says he still has some leftover. And considering only a small amount he used caused this, we don't know how high it would be if he used all of it.

Anyway, so what happens if in the future we get more storm feats? Do we dismiss every single one if they're comparable to The Long Memory?

More storm feats mean it won't be an outlier anymore, it starts becoming consistent.

Just means that Long Memory would upscale from them.

How many feats are usually needed for something to not be an outlier anymore?

Personally I say just one more, since it isn't about the number feats but how they're portrayed in the story.

If recent chapters show that Maiden's can still create those storms and use up that level of energy. It becomes more than a single time moment that could be an outlier, it's now consistent with the series that they can use this level of power.

For the last time Amber didn't create a storm. The clouds already existed way before they started fighting, and she was only shown to manipulate already existing clouds. Or created a very small amount of clouds around her, though I think the former is more likely.
