Yes, less burden of proof doesn't mean no burden of proof. Calling it a laser is assumptive when the show doesn't call it a laser. It could be any beam of energy.

That is whataboutism. The context to those might be different. If you feel the context was exactly same you can create threads about it and I will give my opinion and those can be corrected.
