"Konoe, dear" Tiamat had said once, her voice carrying both warmth and iron
"If you ever end up being gay with whatever species, even if it’s a brick, I suppose i’ll have to find someone myself, i always wanted grandchildren and if you don’t give me them, then I guess I’ll just have to do it on my own"

Flashback Konoe had laughed nervously back then, unsure if it was a joke or a promise

She heads back to the room of discussion.

"Stupid Yoshioka.." she said to herself, blushing.

"Realism and nihilism aren't synonymous either," He continued, "If there is anything about being genuinely good, and seeking genuinely good that's a fantasy to you, maybe consider that people like you are part of the reason it seems that way."

"This stopped being fun when you said there wasn't going to be a fight..." Taeka said, a hint of disappointment in her voice, "Fight each other or shut up, please."

Jack tries to quietly check on the status of the thing in his head to make sure it is not active again.

"I think it might lower them but it seems Xor never to test how her own biology reacts to those, so there’s a chance she isn’t affected and therefore doesn’t even need to turn into a human"

Konoe twiddled her thumbs, glancing at Xordenia still.... before hiding her flushed face under her hat.

"T-Taeka can go first."
 
Konoe wanted to say ("Hey, wanna chat some time?")...

She grumbled and looked down ("Xordy, wanna talk after this?")... then looks up.

"No, that sounds awkward...."

She glanced at Xordenia all the while...
