God of War Discussion Thread

One line that I found interesting was when Begtse threatened Faye, saying "you want to find out how hard it is to die here"?

What does happen when you die there? Are you just gone? Is there infinite recursion?
 
The cube also called "Cosmic Cube" something tell me this cube is part of greater entity with info type 2 hax stuff like that

I interpreted it more as "this is the afterlife, we're already dead, we can't really die again", kinda like the Einherjar

The Dreaming, also referred to as Dreamtime, is a term devised by early anthropologists to refer to a religio-cultural worldview attributed to Australian Aboriginal mythology.[2]

Many Aboriginal Australians also refer to the world-creation time as "Dreamtime". The Dreaming laid down the patterns of life for the Aboriginal people.[5]

The Dreaming is also used as a term for a system of totemic symbols, so that an Aboriginal person may "own" a specific Dreaming; such as a Kangaroo Dreaming, a Shark Dreaming, a Honey Ant Dreaming, or any combination of Dreamings pertinent to their country.[3]

This is because in the Dreaming an individual's entire ancestry exists as one single, continuing cycle, culminating in the idea that all worldly knowledge is accumulated through one's ancestors.[2]

Creation in the Dreamtime
Creation is believed to be the work of culture heroes who travelled across a formless land, creating sacred sites and significant places of interest in their travels.[4]

The concept of a life force in creation is also often associated with sacred sites, and ceremonies performed at such sites "are a re-creation of the events which created the site during The Dreaming". The ceremony helps the life force at the site to remain active and to keep creating new life: if not performed, new life cannot be created.[6]

All I know is that both sides on social media are going to be AIDS about this game, either one person vehemently (& purposefully) gets offended by this game, or a chud calls it "woke".

Doesn't matter, it's going to be just, orach for dinner all day everyday. Anyways my two cents is that Faye is going to become akin to the lady of the lake & the sword Rue going to be become Excalibur somehow, don't ask me why because this is just crack theory time.

ngl greater fundamental magic that encompasss all magic from all myth are insane. Good luck tanking that magic.

It would be mad funny if Kratos shows up and throws hands to show who is the true god of war.

I do hope we see HOW Faye and Kratos met and probably fight. Then immediately banged after that.

i wonder if this game semi-open world or they gonna extend it to full open world game? considering this is first GoW game that properly utilize PS5 power?
 
the director of the game is Ariel Lawrence. Remember past tweet of her about "GoW is limited to earth" back in 2013 ? I hope downplayer does not bring that tweet again, because it can be taken out of context now lol
