This CRT will be going over the scaling, helped along by some new calcs and upgrades. So the scaling currently is a little bit of a mess mostly due to the age of the profiles, and how hard the series actually makes it to scale these people. Unfortunately it hasnt gotten any easier, but we can try.
For overall Level, we know this is extremely important because most quotes when regarding someone's strength/power refers to their overall Level. There'll be more showings of this later, but just to give a few
However, we also know that the level of a particular stat can matter equally as much
Difficulty Ranking is a minor thing that gets brought up. It's used by New World adventurers to rank how difficult something is to beat, and seems to operate similar to Levels, but on a 3x scale.
More evidence comes in the number given for Orichalcum adventurers
Although he's much stronger than Zenburu, we also have another relative low tier, Zero, an Adamantite adventurer equivalent, which puts him at Level ~26-30, making shockwaves with his punches
Here's where Difficulty Ranking comes in. You see, it's said that it's possible to triumph over someone ranked 15 points higher than you. When converted to Levels this would be 5 Levels
For a supporting statement, we have Ainz pondering Azuth's Powered Suit
This is consistent with Sebas catching the tip of a whip-like sword, with the narration explicitly mentioning the supersonic properties of the tip of a whip, with our profile of a whip stating the tip can reach Mach 2.
The current Supersonic+ calc not only doesnt actually have any approval, but also after speaking with @SeijiSetto as an attempt to get one, they pointed out how the calc is actually inflated due to the user's accidental use of radians instead of degrees. Thus it will be removed, with the value the top tiers scale to instead being the 890 m/s stated above.
Establishing The Importance of Overall Levels, Specific Stat Levels, and Difficulty Ranking
So for the basis of the scaling, we're gonna go off of a mix of overall Level and using stats from Character Sheets, the rare times they're given, and some help from the Difficulty Ranking, a method used by New World adventurers to rate how strong things are.For overall Level, we know this is extremely important because most quotes when regarding someone's strength/power refers to their overall Level. There'll be more showings of this later, but just to give a few
Whatever the answer was, there was certainly another mighty being present, apart from the bizarre masked magic caster he had encountered in the Royal Capital.
Someone who could defeat the defense-oriented Death Knights by themselves would probably be over level 45.
- Volume 11; Chapter 4
Entoma grew cautious for the first time. The manwoman — Gagaran — was nothing to fear. The problem was the newcomer — Tia. If her clothes were not just for looks, then she ought to be a ninja. That was a job class which required a minimum character level of 60 to take.
If that were the case, then the teleportation technique which had allowed Gagaran to escape Entoma’s attack was ninjutsu.
If she were a real ninja, then even Entoma would not be able to win easily. She had thought to conserve her strength and eliminate her opponent, but things being as they were, she could no longer afford to hold back.
- Volume 6; Chapter 9
“Evileye is quite strong. Going by levels alone, she might not be an opponent Yuri-neesan or Shizu could beat.”
A shadow passed over the face of the battle maids for the first time.
- Volume 6; Chapter 11
However, we also know that the level of a particular stat can matter equally as much
It was roughly level thirty-five, but although its attack power was only comparable to a level twenty-five monster, its defensive power was very good, equivalent to a level forty monster. That said, monsters of that level were useless to Momonga for the most part.
- Volume 1; Chapter 3
Ainz’s physical attack power would be around that of a level thirty warrior, in Yggdrasil terms. However, that was greatly affected by spells and equipment, so he could not be sure. Still, with that as a baseline, the Wise King of the Forest had the fighting power of a level thirty or so character.
- Volume 2; Chapter 3
We know this is pretty accurate to the Character Sheets as well, considering the bar for Ainz's Physical Attack is about where the 30s would be.That battle had sparked the desire in Ainz to improve his close combat ability.
Right now, Ainz was confident that in stats, skills and even tactics, he was the equivalent of a level 33 warrior.
- Volume 10; Chapter 3
Difficulty Ranking is a minor thing that gets brought up. It's used by New World adventurers to rank how difficult something is to beat, and seems to operate similar to Levels, but on a 3x scale.
So Lakyus tells everyone Entoma has a ranking of at least 150. This fits with Difficulty Ranking being roughly 3x Yggdrasil Levels, as Entoma is Level 51. Evileye putting herself at around 150 makes this more consistent, as the Pleiades say in terms of Levels alone, Evileye might not be someone that Yuri or CZ could beat, with Yuri being Level 51 and CZ Level 46Adventurers rated the strength of the monsters which they encountered by their difficulty ranking. The higher the number, the stronger the opponent.
[...]
“The insect maid’s difficulty ranking was at least 150. Jaldabaoth himself is estimated at 200 or more.”
[...]
Lakyus had not lied, but neither had she told them the whole truth. Although Lakyus herself was rated at 90, Evileye was over 150, which was how she had come to the conclusion about the insect maid and Jaldabaoth.
- Volume 6; Chapters 10 and 11
“Evileye is quite strong. Going by levels alone, she might not be an opponent Yuri-neesan or Shizu could beat.”
- Volume 6; Chapter 11
More evidence comes in the number given for Orichalcum adventurers
So here we have the higher end Orichalcum adventurers put at an 80. You know who's compared to an Orichalcum adventurer? Narberal in her adventurer persona when she clubs a Skeletal Dragon:That much was expected. Even the highest-ranking orichalcum adventurers would only rate around 80 on the difficulty rankings.
Narberal's Physical Attack is about 25. What is 80 divided by 3? 26.6Then, she concentrated all her strength and swung with all her force.
Her blow sent the three-meter-tall Skeletal Dragon flying.
Shortly afterward, it hit the ground with an earth-shaking crash.
“What?!”
Khajiit’s jaw dropped as he stared.
“—You, who are you? A mythril... no, an orichalcum-ranked adventurer?!
There shouldn’t be anyone like that in this city; did you pursue Clementine or myself to this place?!”

Level 12-20+
Attack Potency and Durability
Proposal:
Individuals with a confirmed 12 in any of the Attack or Defense stats, or who are overall Level 20 (or is at least equivalent to a Platinum ranked Adventurer) should they lack said stats, will be upgraded to 8-C, based on this calc of an Adventurer using a Fireball.Reasoning:
Zaryusu is Level 20 with a Magic Defense of 12, and he can tank two Fireballs "with ease" from Iguva, an Elder Lich, and thus can be assumed to tank at least a couple more hits before things get dicey for him. This is consistent, as stronger adventurers are said to be able to tank multiple Fireballs, even more supported by Platinum adventurers being said to be able to fight Elder Liches (which use Fireball), and Mythril adventurers being able to win easily against one. Zaryusu's feat is technically even more impressive, as one can see on Iguva's character sheet that he was just a typical Elder Lich before his stats were buffed via Ainz's necromancy Skills, so in reality someone on Zaryusu's Level would be able to tank even more Fireballs from the typical Elder Lich being used as a comparison.
Speed
Proposal:
Characters who are overall Level ~18 will be upgraded to Supersonic.Reasoning:
Zenburu, who is Level 18 is able to swing his weapon and cause what looks to be a sonic boomIt's already about as literal as it can get, but just in case it helps the raws also would have it translated to a "thunderous roar", confirmed by @SeijiSettoBefore long, when Zaryusu had reached a certain distance, a thunderous whoosh tore through the air which Zaryusu had just leapt away from. It was the sound of Zenberu swinging his halberd.
There was no skill to it; it was merely a forceful swing.
- Volume 4; Chapter 2
This also has the supporting feat of Zenburu being said to be able to wipe thousands of skeletons in moments if he was let onto the battlefieldやがてザリュースがある距離に達した瞬間轟音が飛びのいたザリュースの眼前を流れていく。
それはゼンベルの振った槍が巻き起こした音だ。
何の技巧も無い、単なる振り回しである。
The attackers were 2200 Zombies, 2200 Skeletons, three hundred Undead Beasts, one hundred fifty Skeleton Archers and one hundred Skeleton Riders, fora total of 4950 troops, not including the commander and his retinue.
[...]
Indeed, if a mighty warrior like Zenberu took the field, they could probably wipe out the Skeletons in moments.
- Volume 4; Chapter 3
Although he's much stronger than Zenburu, we also have another relative low tier, Zero, an Adamantite adventurer equivalent, which puts him at Level ~26-30, making shockwaves with his punches
Zero punched the air. It seemed to be a meaningless move, but that iron fist actually generated a shockwave which buffeted Brain’s body.
- Volume 6; Chapter 8
Level 62-70+
Attack Potency/Durability
Proposal:
Characters who are overall Level 62-70, or with such a Level in an Attack/Defense stat, or otherwise of course have relevant scaling/statements, scale to Low 7-C based off of this Nuclear Blast calc, replacing the current one, as now we finally have visuals of the feat.Reasoning:
So we know Level and Difficulty Rating comes out to a 1:3 ratio, but how does this help us? Well, the lowest confirmed Level of something that can use 10th tier spells is the Elemental Skull, with a Level of 68However Nuclear Blast is a 9th tier spell, so realistically people of a lower Level should be scaling, but we just dont have enough info say, right? Technically true, but we can make a conservative compromise.Ainz had timed for this, as he cast another [Summon Undead – 10th].
It was a level 68 undead, an Elemental Skull.
Its appearance was of a floating skull, surrounding it was a magical haze of light that constantly switched between four colors: red, blue, green, and yellow.
Ainz made it fall back and took its place at the front.
The Elemental Skull was a caster type undead capable of using magic of the four major elements.
[...]
The Elemental Skull on the other hand, cast a tenth-tier spell, [Mist of Super Acid]. This was also a spell that Ainz had not learnt, that was the reason why he had summoned the Elemental Skull.
- Volume 14; Chapter 4
Here's where Difficulty Ranking comes in. You see, it's said that it's possible to triumph over someone ranked 15 points higher than you. When converted to Levels this would be 5 Levels
So, given Nuclear Blast is an entire Tier of spell lower than what a Level 68 caster-type being can use, a very conservative approach for the sake of scaling is to assume 9th tier spells can be used by Level 67 beings, and then go down 5 Levels to Level 62 for those who can still viably scale to Nuclear Blast.Although one could still triumph over a foe ranked roughly 15 points over oneself, trying to do the same with an enemy ranked almost twice as high as oneself was nothing short of laughable. And then—
- Volume 6; Chapter 11
For a supporting statement, we have Ainz pondering Azuth's Powered Suit
We see after discovering someone in New World has a Powered Suit, an item from Yggdrasil, Ainz recalls info he knows about them, and he says they should only be equivalent to Level 80 characters at the highest tier ones he knows. He then immediately considers a rumor of Lakyus's sword being able to level a city to potentially be plausible, if her sword is on the same tier as something as a high tier Powered Suit. This should imply that at least those around level 80 should be in the range of power to cause and withstand city destroying attacks, given Ainz immediately posited that the rumor could be true after just knowing things on the level of Powered Suits are in New World. This won't result in a new tier being argued for this CRT due to the size of such medieval cities not being adequately known, as well as the fact it's only meant to be a general supporting statement that Tier 7 is consistent for higher Level characters.“Correct. Even the strongest Powered Suits could only have the offensive capabilities equivalent to level eighty characters. However, that hinges on my knowledge on the Powered Suits being perfect. Hypothetically, if there were rarer or Artifact grade Powered Suits, it would be a completely different situation. If that were the case, there could be Powered Suits much more powerful than the ones I have described.”
[...]
Ainz was journeying through his memories when he realized.
If Red Drop had a Powered Suit from Yggdrasil — the black sword of the leader of the other adamantite-ranked team, Blue Rose, could be of a similar power level.
According to the intel they had gathered from their aides in the capital, the weapon she wielded was said to be powerful enough to level an entire city.
Though that aide found the intel to be preposterous, it did originate from a member of the team itself.
Ainz always thought that she was either lying to her teammates, or just making things up.
But given what he knew now — perhaps, that intel was true.
He had heard that the leaders of Blue Rose and Red Drop were relatives.
If they were related, then having the same level of equipment should not be weird at all.

Speed
Proposal:
There actually isnt anything for the Level 62-70 tier of people, so instead only physically oriented characters in the Level ~95-100 range will scale to 890 m/s (Mach 2.59) based on Albedo being able to react to Azuth's giant gun, replacing the current Supersonic+ value that comes from a calc which will be removed from the profiles for reasons below.Reasoning:
Albedo is able to react to Azuth's gunfire, all she expresses is how it would be a little difficult to dodge every single bullet from a full automatic gun890 m/s comes from using the muzzle velocity of an M2 Browning for Azuth's gun. This is because it's likened to being more of a "heavy machine gun type" of gun compared to another character's, as well as Azuth's powersuit is 3 meters tall, and yet the gun is still proportioned reasonably and is a good chunk of the height, making the gun suitably large to more than count for being a heavy machine gun.Compared to Shizu’s assault rifle type Arcane Rifle, this enemy’s Arcane Rifle was more of a heavy machine gun type according to Cocytus. Its destructive capabilities were a tier above Shizu’s weapon.
A low rumbling sound accompanied the large number of bullets being fired from the weapon.
Those bullets were larger than an acorn and were shot out at blazing speeds, it was difficult for her to dodge them all.
However, Albedo could at the very least, redirect a few of the bullets back at him. Not only would this damage the opponent’s weapon, the damage of Albedo’s halberd was added on to it as well. Combined with the damage she could deal with her skills, this should deal a considerable amount of damage to the enemy.
- Volume 14; Chapter 4
This is consistent with Sebas catching the tip of a whip-like sword, with the narration explicitly mentioning the supersonic properties of the tip of a whip, with our profile of a whip stating the tip can reach Mach 2.
The current Supersonic+ calc not only doesnt actually have any approval, but also after speaking with @SeijiSetto as an attempt to get one, they pointed out how the calc is actually inflated due to the user's accidental use of radians instead of degrees. Thus it will be removed, with the value the top tiers scale to instead being the 890 m/s stated above.
Note:
A character should also preferably have good enough feats or statements to back their numbers up, and those who lack this will not scale. Biggest example of this is CZ, who has a massive Physical Attack Stat of 67 for her overall Level of 46, which is an outlier in itself since from what I recall, no one else has a stat that eclipses their overall Level like this. CZ not only does not have the feats to back this up (the fight against Ainz by her doppelganger does not count, as the Doppel Pleiades were buffed by a Level 100 dedicated buffer NPC who explicitly allowed them to do things they otherwise couldnt), but her Physical Defense is also 20, which should put her very solidly in 8-C scaling for the lower tiers of the verse, creating an imbalance that cannot be easily explained. As such, she would not scale to the Nuclear Blast value.
