That's a good point, though would Omega be as vulnerable as Beta Mark II is? Though considering the shots are homing Omega would have a hard time closing the distance, especially when he can't fly like Beta, phase through normal attacks, or boost toward Gamma
Tbf, Beta Mark II durability didn’t increase that much from Mark II, the fight took longer because of Beta’s phasing.
So does Beta Mark II that Gamma shot out of the sky. No idea if Omega can do the same to Gamma because Gamma uses Energy balls not missiles.
Unqualifiedly stronger. Could be a major upgrade to Beta Mark II or a minor upgrade to Beta Mark II like Mark II was to Mark I.

Just watched the fight. An ability by Beta done with phasing. Also, Beta Mark II’s back is not a weakpoint (part of his body weaker than his other parts), just left unprotected after Beta momentarily became exhausted from a charge attack.
Yes he can, Omega can fire homing energy in 06, even faster than Gamma's lock on even, and easily spammable
He is literally the ULTIMATE E-series robots, he fought against people who KILLED Gamma, and STRONGER versions of him, there's no reason to assume is only a minor increase other then it helps your point. Also btw Gamma DIED to Beta, that was a tie at BEST.
Omega beat people who bested Gamma, he objectively has more skill

Didn't Gamma kill himself? The game seems to imply Gamma chose to shut himself down and die to release the little flicky inside of him
No, he got shoot and died, sure he wanted to eliminate himself but Beta shooting him is what actually killed. There would need actual proof for this "suicide" theory
