Can I get your opinion on using material from Destiny Rising, something like this for example? I can also understand why it might not be allowed, as it’s not written by Bungie themselves.

i mean, i sure Rising is just an alternative timeline/branch of the Flower Game but this feel like metaphor

It can't be used for mainline Destiny, no. The specific example wouldn't really add much anyway. We already know the Light is beyond spacetime.

Yeah, that makes sense. You wouldn’t want the lore to overlap, especially if NetEase decides to make changes later that conflict with the established story. Though, I’ll give them props—they did do good research.

I thought so, but I wasn’t completely sure, so thanks for clearing that up. Did we ever figure out what the Darkness Fungi was? From what little I remember, it was somehow connected to nightmares or something like that.

It's an impure physical manifestation of Darkness. Egregore fungi can form a network across spacetime. They don't have any connections to specific powers.
