Natural lightning in Naruto can release 11 gigatons of tnt. Perfectly normal for it to bust a Susanoo from a dying Itachi.

Huh? It doesn't destroy the susanoo. The entire reason Itachi survives is BECAUSE he blocks with susanoo and we see the susanoo completely unharmed.

Because narratively it's clear that Amaterasu is clearly supposed to be top of the crop in terms of fire style heat to the point Jiraya couldn't believe the fire breathing toads mouth was burned. We also see that when focused Amaterasu can actually just instantly erase metal like it's nothing against Shin. Yet the anti feats being presented would make it inferior to even regular fire if taken at face value.

There's also the infamous lightning heat scaling. We see many shinobi even as weak as kid Sasuke cover themselves in lightning for prolonged periods of time without getting burned, so something like samurai armor or Kage level fighters having resistance to take high heater would be consistent.

We also explicit statement that kid Naruto and team 10 can’t be burn by lightning

To be honest, based on what I've seen here, I'm starting to think it makes sense that the Susanoo could survive intense heat for a short period of time (I mean, the Susanoo is capable of withstanding a lightning strike powerful enough to vaporize a mountain).

If I'm not mistaken, this was the discussion where Kirin was upgraded to SoL.

Pretty sure when I read this thread your main argument is that you are using nominal fallacy to equate mei Lava release as always it being Lava, when in Naruto manga/anime/databooks/ that is not always the case.

Mei lava release jutsu has always been stated in the databooks to be the acid variant type Madara ribcage sussanoo melted from acidic properties not heat from mei non existent lava in the panels. if you have any questions I can always help you when it comes to Naruto/Boruto scaling and power and haxes.

My claim has always been that PS grants that level of heat resistance.

please read the manga if bijuu bombs were yin yang they would have nullified all jutsu. they would have nullified and erased the barrier the hokage put up and the earth release wall the shinobi alliance used to slow the ten tail bijuu bomb. it seems to me you keep bringing up moments and lore and add your own headcanon. please argue in good faith and try to understand the naruto manga.

• Amaterasu again sitting on top of the Uchiha Hideout, with no vapor or implication of something melting, simply sitting there as decor.

It's stated and shown that it creates vapor which then created clouds.  At core of the sun temperatures water molecules are destroyed creating no clouds of vapor.

He heats the atmosphere with it, which allows Sasuke to create Kirin after throwing his own Fire Release into the clouds. It doesn't overcome the preponderance of the evidence, which is that visually, Ama's heat output isn't supported.
