The issues haven't been entirely resolved in my opinion. Even setting aside the horizon issue, there's still the matter of the timeframe not being a reliable one.

It would be a single panel feat if we saw Wapol land somewhere in that same panel, or the next panel. Wapol's offscreen flight through the air after Luffy hit him is 99.99% off-screen so it is overly generous to an extreme to say that the entire calculated feat took place in a single panel.

Can we calc Luffy sending Wapol to the South Blue and assume a timeframe of a day or sum and just see how that works since we know where he went and we can deduce how long it took him to get there?

A day wouldnt make much sense, the maximum amount of time he needs to stay in the air is 31.93 seconds. Any longer and he would fall into the ocean.

So 31.93 seconds may be a better timeframe to use? Assuming that Wapol was blasted away purely horizontally from Luffy.

Grand Line Width: 160691 km
Launch Distance Minimum (half of Grand Line): 160691/2 = 80345.5 km
Timeframe: 31.93 seconds
Launch Speed: 80345.5/31.93 = 2516.30128 km/s
KE: 0.5 * 112.265 * 2516301.28^2 = 3.55418199e14 Joules (84.946988289 Kilotons)

I don't think we know that Luffy sent Wapol as far as the South Blue. It was shown in the cover page of the post-timeskip cover story that Wapol was able to found his own kingdom some time in the over 2 years since he was defeated by Luffy, but the glimpses we get of his new Evil Black Drum Kingdom in the South Blue don't have any resemblance to the island that Luffy launched him to. There's no reason he necessarily stayed in one single island during that whole timeframe.

It doesn't really matter because either way we know he landed beyond the Grand Line, which the calc posted above uses as a basis.

According to you, Wapol could have moved islands during the cover story. In order for him to do that, he'd either have had to cross the Calm Belt (which requires a motor and a Sea Prism Stone-lined hull) or go all the way back to Reverse Mountain. Do I really have to explain why both of these scenarios are nonsensical for a guy with 0 navigation skills and no boat?

You're forgetting that Wapol became filthy rich; I'm not proposing he navigated the sea singlehandedly. He had more than enough time and means to move to the South Blue.

He got rich all during pre timeskip between the arcs of alabasta and thriller bark canonically due to perona being inspired by his creations. So it wasn't that long of a time, a month at most. So it wasn't that much time since it takes a lot to do that.

Reading through the cover story, we don't see Wapol ever riding a ship off the island and he only becomes rich enough to buy a way off the island by the latter half of the cover story but at that point his franchise had already been established. Navigating to the South Blue while simultaneously becoming that rich at the same time seems implausible.

I didn't say they had to happen at the same time. As KT pointed out up above he got rich before the timeskip even happened, so he had over two years to find a pace to found his new kingdom.

Yes. Luffy was 17 years old pre-timeskip. This was before he even set out to sea.
This is the adaptation of chapter 1101, where in the manga the full feat was obscured. Episode 1135 in the anime.

This was Luffy before the start of the story during Kuma's flashback and the anime is being used because it has more context compared to the manga.

Well for the boulder feat, Damage says it isn't viable as the rubble doesn't match the size of the previously calculated size of the boulder.
For launching of Wapol, he belives that the distance is too big and the timeframe is too short.
That's just my interpretation, I don't want to misrepresent Damage's viewpoint.

The CGM said to use Fragmentation and that's what's used in the calc.
"Energy (frag): 1.54516778e11 * 8 = 1236134224000 Joules"
Thats volume x joules per cc for Fragmentation of rock.
