In honour of the Hellsing cast becoming 8-B, and Seras getting her ability section updated, she enters one of the community's favourite methods of test.

8-B Homelander is being used.

Seras's AP: 55 tons of TNT

Speed equalized.

Fight takes place on the streets of London in the day time.

Homelander has been informed about Seras by Heinkel and Iscariot, so he knows what they know about her. He knows she can summon Pip and that Pip can cover large areas, he knows to target the heart and head, he knows about her tendrils and her ability to spread herself out with them, and he knows about her regeneration. Though he doesn't know their actual stats, he has been told Seras is as strong as he is, although he doesn't fully believe it. He has been given a tough fight by others (Maeve, Soldier Boy, Butcher, Hughie) though, so he is cautious.

Okay, if he knows what they know then he's not getting anywhere near her. He's gonna be exclusively flying and range spamming after lasering her guns. The problem is Seras's inherent AnaPre helps prevent that because she would naturally be able to read his every movement like a book and at best be confused the first time he uses heat vision but never be caught off-guard by it again afterwards. Not to mention that this is a 2v1 since she can summon Pip as backup and she has much better healing than Homelander on top of a 2.5× AP difference.

If he goes into melee with this mindset he's getting murdered in 0.5 seconds since Seras likes to abuse LS and piercing attacks.

He knows about the tendril and shadows though, so he does know to stay in the air and keep his distance. He'll only go close by choice if he gets frustrated and charges.

But he doesn't know she's stronger than him so his first thought is going to be trying to rip her apart in melee. That's what he always tries first against people who can actually hurt him because he's an arrogant asshole.

I added specifics to the OP. He's been told she's as strong as him, but he doesn't fully believe it. He has been challenged though, so he is cautious about her.

He does have a wincon though. His heat vision can kill her by targeting her head or even her heart.

It feels very stompy to me personally because Homelander's own mindset is what makes him lose the vast majority of threads he's in. You practically have to make him bloodlusted for him to even win this fight and even then he's not guaranteed to pull it off because Seras is basically better than him in every category that isn't flying. Even if he does start flying she can just throw shit at him and knock him out of the sky since she has AnaPre, a 2× AP advantage and absurd Class T Lifting Strength.

She has flight too. Her tendril is able to shift into wings.
