"Monster" Sans VS "Member of the Seven" A-Train

  • Both in-character and 30m away
  • Pre-Heart Attack A-Train
Speed of Sans: 121.3m/s, even higher with Attack Speed with Gaster Blasters
Speed of A-Train: 339 m/s, 371m/s with Compound V
Difference at most of 3.05x.

Sans:
A-Train:
Inconclusive:

The problem is that as soon as A-Train enters the range, Sans can just affect everything around him and gg, and A-Train has absolutely no ranged answer

+Danmaku...

Sans reaction speed is even faster than his combat speed so the difference in speed is pretty much non existent when Sans' attacks are all tought based
even if Sans couldn't avoid one of A Train's attack, Sans would still be able to simply teleport A Train back to start.
This is again besides the fact that any of Sans' attacks is basically a one shot via Karma dura neg
So overall, i don’t see how this isn't a stomp (Sans first move is soul based telekinesis/ gravity crush)

oh yeah, and A-Train already spawns inside Sans' range in this situation, since Sans definetely is not struggling to use his kit in 30m

Dunno if it'd call it a stomp. Put the sans fight at x0.33 speed, most of his attacks aren't THAT crazy.
A train is not 3x faster than sans, sans has way higher reaction speed then his own value he definitly reacting a train.
And sans gravity manip and telekinesis has nothing to do with his attack speed
They are just unavoidable

1: A Train doesn't have any danmaky dodging experience or any skill feats at all
2: In lore, the Danmakus are 3d and not 2d, and thus the gameplay downplays how hard they actually are (specially since you need great spatial awareness to dodge attacks that are behind you)
3: A train can't get hit by any attacks, unlike Frisk who could take on several
4: Sans first move is thought based Gravity crush that is instantly followed up by dura neg that spaws on top of A Train

You don't need to be x6 faster than your opponent to consistently dodge them, his reactions have nothing really that puts them anywhere near A-Train's speed.
The TK is pretty good advantage sans has, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that laying on the ground is probably a bad idea.

Wouldn't the way sans' dura neg works (It just stacking 1 damage over and over again) let faster lads survive it for longer, from their perspective at least.
Like the 1 damage stacking would be slower to them.

if A-Train could somewhat stand soul damage, yeah

Karma bullds up extremely quickly and A Train will be pinned to the ground and killed instantly

Hes reactions is enough to react a trains speed, hes reaction is far faster than his own value , you cant hit sans even once
And 3 x difference is not enough to blitz
Amd you cant just say a train can restrain soul damaging gravity manio

The poison can't kill and probably is too slow to be much of a factor here.

Dunno if I'd use "pinned" too. Makes it sound like sans would TK lock A-Train in place when really he just uses it to slam us down before trying to hit us with an attack from the ground. Actually won't it send A-Train flying, cause of his momentum and junk?

Someone who sees your attacks coming even at just x0.5 speed is going to have a wayyy easier time dodging them, especially when Frisk can only attack up close.
Do we even have an accepted gap for what constitutes a speed blitz? Not that it really matters, rn Naoya is perception blitzing people with like barely twice their speed.

A train can dodge sans but he cant dodge something undodgable like sans telekinesis
Just tell me what can a train do if sans uses his telekinesis and start to slam a train to the ground and walls like how he did against in the end of his special attack?
İm sure a train cant even move after slaming on the ground like ten times

9-B TK slams aren't doing anything to the 8-C yo
(Also that wasn't his special attack, his special attack is right afterwards)

Karma would decrease a 20 HP soul to 1 in seconds and it doesn't matter since A train isn't aurviving the first attack

Sans first attack would slam A Train to the ground and aoul based bones spaw on top of A Train instantly after, the match is over already

Frisk has actual danmaku dodging Feats and the player sees the game in 2d and thus can see all attacks that are coming in any direction, A Train has neither of those

1: While we don't have a value, the difference for a perception blitz should be the same as normal human reaction speed to a sub-sonic attack
2: This is verse specific for jjk and not wiki standards

The slams might not do anything but the bones that spaws instantly after you get slamed would pretty much Insta kill A Train via soul dura neg

Mmmm bones give 6 KR on first hit (blasters give 10) and 1 per 1/30 of a second after that. Sans's regular damage is already enough to kill a 20 HP SOUL in 0.66 seconds, of course. KR is hardly a factor when his base damage outperforms it at low HP like this because of how the draining mechanic works.

Slaming isnt about ap you know right?
İts about speed and the mass of the person
So a train would pretty affected by it
Are we deadass arguing the guy who can do at max 1 damage to other 9-Bs with their telekinesis slams would somehow manage to harm someone several tiers above them? He doesn't even use them to harm the opponent until the very end of his fight.

From what I remember, A-train is rather clumsy. And he doesn’t use his speed to its fullest extent. So I’m heavily leaning towards Sand ftw.

Again, telekinesis slams has nothing to do with ap its about speed and ls
İf a train slams in a building ,it would pretty hurt him

Its hard to debate A Train because sometimes he stops time and moves that way and then he consistently runs into things

hey, assuming A-Train avoids being pinned due to being somehow faster than Sans' reaction speed, Sans can danmaku which A-Train has no reaction to

Tell me is it a criiiiiiiiime? how would A-Train avoid not dying against that affecting his soul directly without prior experience?

I mean A-Train should be able to just outrun the danmaku

I mean A-Train should be able to just outrun the danmaku
outrunning danmaku, which is completely different from anything he experienced before and the soul manip?
And even if he somehow did that, it is MUCH more believable that Sans, who 1000% outsmarts A-Train, will get a plan up in the fly way before A-Train's able to land a hit

does soul manip even matter if sans can't hit A-Train? A-Train's not gonna stand still while Sans is launching attacks from him.
