This guy's just resisting explosion level s*, so a lightsaber is 100% giving him the butter treatment lol
 
This probably isn't the best fighting option. But within the Re:Zero character profiles, I only found this guy to be an elderly swordsman.

I also placed them far apart inside two separate buildings to make it more strategic perhaps. It's also a way for Wilhelm not to be instantly affected by TK/Force Lightning, and in the second case, to use obstacles to protect himself, perhaps.

But anyway yeah a lightsaber would burn through Wilhelm just as a sword would slice through Dooku
 
Pretty sure Force precog and Wil's precog are fundamentally different right? Divination vs Analytical? He deals with the latter fine, not sure about the former, or of the difference even matters

According to the page.
While the abilities are similar, they retain fundamental differences in the process, which means they are affected differently by other powers. Divination struggles with Acausality, for example, while Analytical Prediction is less bothered, only to be trumped by things like a Resistance to Information Analysis. Analytical Prediction also only factors in what the user themselves knows and understands, while Divination is a means of acquiring information that one would otherwise not possess.

I should note that Dooku can use Jedi shit as a Sith Lord and vice versa(He even uses Force Lightning to protect Qui-Gon lol), so expect to see some arguments about Jedi stuff like Force Barrier and Force Stasis from people arguing.

Honestly, it seems like he's using a form of power null (cutting off the opponent's power) on a power that works in a uniquely specific way.

Force precognition doesn't have invisible lines for Wilhelm to cut. And even if it did, well, I don't think he could interact with the Force.

Anyway, Dooku's precognition should be better than Wilhelm's ANPR since he is straight-up seeing the future itself, and his senses in general are far more BS than Wilhelm's. Wilhelm would also have a much harder time engaging in a sword duel due to his much inferior blade; he would have to constantly avoid having his swords touch Dooku's Lightsaber, or else he would be forced to fight barehanded

Honestly, it would be awful for him to get that close to Dooku. Not just because of the lightsaber.
 
Pre-requisites to not instantly die against a decent force-wielder:

  1. Be somehow able to not instantly die as soon as a lightsaber's making contact with ya
    1. What we usually don't debate is that not only are the opponents getting the butter treatment, but their weapons too lol
  2. Be able to deal with basically the most impressive precog on this wiki
  3. Be skillfull enough so you might hope to win not instantly get your ass negged by different forms of swordplay

It's described as severing the rays, but that's metaphorical since Wilhelm has no idea about the Sword God's guidance. It's just that his swordsmanship managed to surpass Theresia's, so that guidance became unreliable.

The first training of a Jedi (when they are, like, 5 years old) is, for example, blocking projectiles with their senses blocked while using only the Force to guide them. Jedi have extensive training against projectiles, including unique lightsaber forms designed solely to deal with them.

If it's an energy projectile, it's basically the worst thing you can do against a Jedi/Sith, since it's either absorbed or reflected.
