Can Wilhelm cook him before he transforms
Essentially the matchup yes

I dont know if childe has passive smth smth to kill Wilhelm or not so i would like to see the arguments for if he transforms as well (Since if he was in a life or death situation wilhelm could rise to the ocassion)

If he transforms into Foul Legacy then he passively emits abyssal energy which will kill someone with zero resistances in a minute

So aside from Abyss Energy does Childe have anything that stops a skill slop?

he has barriers, homing attacks, and hydro bomb and energy absorption if he lands a hit aside from his general stuff like turning into an element

Genshin supporters could probably help out w clarifications here

Well, if you think he can't instantly transform into his Foul Legacy then you'd be wrong.

Passive Disease Manipulation just by being an elemental user and something something being able to open spatial rifts if he hits hard enough with elemental energy (Does this type of elemental manip grant durability negation? because that could be a win con)

Also Childe has paralysis inducement which could help him keep Willhelm in place

this is useful, how fast does it act?

not on his profile, so it did be nice if you could provide scans

Also Childe has paralysis inducement which could help him keep Willhelm in place
how does it work?

How fast can Wilhelm AD reach 6B?
Depends, he wil typically keep getting faster and stronger however, if he gets in a life or death situation he did instantly get into it

Well first of all, the opponent needs to deal with these first, which all of them are passive once Childe transform into his Foul Legacy

I mean its the high concentration of elemental energy what makes people gets disease, so should work like a passive
Wilhelm would probably try to get the job done quickly once he realizes he is on a timer and needs healing magic from Ferris

typically with passives without a timeline, especially one that specifically says "exposure for prolonged periods", it is assumed that it wouldn't affect a matchup especially one that wouldnt even last 10 minutes realistically unless shown otherwise

(this is also why tensura characters dont murder passive stomp everybody even though their corruption should be smurf hax or something)
Either via paralysis or extraordinary perception/enhanced senses

does any of this have feats for being able to actually decommission someone the instant its released?

So, how well does Tartagalia fare against this:

Wilhelm is capable of recognizing the strategy of his opponents when even his commanding officer can't. He was already the greatest swordsman of the domain at just 14 years old, his skill already surpassed 15 normal youths combined before he had ever seen live combat. To prove his skills, Wilhelm fought in an arena against 40 of the most elite warriors the kingdom had to offer, some being his own extraordinary comrades, and defeated every last one of them with hardly a scratch. Wilhelm's skills matched evenly against Kurgan's, the strongest warrior from the southern empire, depite Kurgan having a superior build, four weapons, and eight arms. He countered Kurgan's simultaneous attacks from multiple directions, despite being airborne, by allowing his bones to be broken in exchange for slicing off one of Kurgan's arms. In their rematch, Wilhelm made use of the cityscape to lay down his offensive, his agility allowing him to evade attacks that would kill him if they snagged just a shred of clothing. With his monstrous skill, Wilhelm struck the same spot of Kurgan's cleavers repeatedly as their blades clashed, finally shattering a weapon. Wilhelm's skills in his old age, prior to honing himself once more, were inferior to when he was in his prime.

After the battle for the Watergate City of Priestella, Wilhelm honed his swordsmanship and regained skills comparable to what he was capable of in his prime, in the age when he had been the Kingdom's sword. Wilhelm has a terrifying way of fighting, possessed of both an exceptionally keen sense of combat and powers of observation, as well as the unwavering determination to risk his life based on what he saw with his own eyes. When the floor that he had kicked away rebounded towards him with twice the speed and force, he voided all of its power by stabbing the dead center of its mass with surgical precision, a feat of genius in the realm of the divine. From the outset of his battle with the Crimson Sakura, Wilhelm accurately predicted that he would reap the shinobi's life in four moves, with her only surviving the final slash because of a hidden pit under the floor she had prepared in advance. In a single short battle, using just his observations, he figured out the nature of Yae's steel threads, kicking off of them at the precise angle with the right force to use them as a foothold and escape from an unavoidable storm of steel threads in a confined space. Wilhelm's swordsmanship is so refined that even when faced with fiery explosions in a confined space, he neutralized them by simply cutting them.

childe can also use his Foul Legacy form almost instantly so this could help
Im saying things he could use in base in the odd case he tries to be a show man and get oblizerated like what happend against Neuvi

They dont decommission anyone because all important characters are litterally resistance or immune to said passives (Talking about abyss haxs)

Without feats, it can't be considered combat applicable unfortunately

So, besides his passive how is he dealing with wilhelm's skill stuff?

As I mentioned, Tartaglia's abilities, whether abyssal or elemental, don't put anyone out of commission, because all important characters are resistant to the game's two UES abilities. What in neutral might be considered an overpowered ability, in the verse is a mediocre one because everyone has resistance to it. This isn't a case of "not having feats," it's a case of "no one can be corrupted because even low-tier characters have resistance to corruption."

As much as I love Childe, he is cooked here. Sure, he could enter Foul Legacy immediately and he could then send out abyssal energy all around him. And that might work in theory, except Wilhelm would just cut it down and then close in. But none of that is even in character for Childe. Unless I'm forgetting something, Childe has literally never started out a fight immediately using Foul Legacy. He also fights primarily with melee weapons and against someone like Wilhelm who only fights with swords he's going to try to engage him in close-quarters. He is battle hungry and he will want to see what Wilhelm is capable of. Mind you, this is a character who literally has canonically lost multiple fights because he got too cocky. Unfortunately for him engaging Wilhelm in close-quarters is a death sentence.

Childe, my first child, will win. Trust.

Wilhelm could probably nullify the passive, but wouldn’t it just keep reactivating? He doesn’t have deadspot, after all. He could still win, but saying he can completely shut down the passive feels a bit excessive.
