Plot:​

After getting SI diff by Scion, David end up in hell, for the (very minor) mass crimes against humanity he commited as part of Cauldron, during one of the extermination. To recover his lost ego, he decide to take on the tough looking dude commanding the angels.

Rule:​

• Battle happen near the Hotel in the pride ring.
• They start 1 km away from each other.
• Speed Equalised
• Eidolon get 10 seconds of prep time.

I don't think it's possible for them to even harm Adam with that difference.

It entirely depend on the situation and what power he got on him at the time.

Eidolon's shard High Priest grant him powers in response to what it think Eidolon need at any given moment.
Eidolon himself choose if he want to keep his current powers or replace them with the ones High Priest presents him.
Eidolon can hold 3 strong powers or 4 weaker at the same time.
Generally he keep at all time three powers: one offensive power, one defensive power and one additionnal of various possible nature (perception, mobility,...)

So if for example he meet someone that is too fast for him, High Priest present him a power to lessen the gap in speed or work around it, if he face several foes simultaniously High Priest present him a power that can efficiently take out many foes, etc...

My problem is that I don't know how exactly Eidolon uses their abilities, while I watched HH so I know how Adam uses his.

High Priest is kinda like a spectator watching a TV show in first person. It hear and see through Eidolon as well as perceive his thoughts but no generally it doesn't know more than Eidolon.

Adam will start with his axe and get into head to head combat immediately, swinging his axe around and being fully offensive as he doesn’t care about being hurt. This makes it dangerous to fight him since he could eat a counter attack and attack.

What type of ability would he choose to counter? Maybe something mobility related or a stun

Hard to tell
Offensively Eidolon go more for ranged attacks, regardless of what he start if a power don't work he'll let it go and take more lethal one that can bypass the defenses of his enemy.

Defense wise if an unknown enemy try to rush at him in close he wouldn't just stay there and take it so he his more likely to take a power that mix defense and mobility like this one:
Forcefield Creation (Can create (...) a forcefield that teleports him when broken)

And lastly for the third maybe an Esp type power to find out what the heck he is dealing with like this:
Extrasensory Perception (Used a power that made him capable of perceiving a visual representation of others' powers, though has not been shown to discern the specific abilities)

Yes but that's not a forcefield that parry attacks it's one who automatically teleport Eidolon to a safe spot upon being broken by a strike.

A moment later, Scion attacked. A flash of light.

The light penetrated the bubble, and Eidolon was gone, a quarter-mile away.

Reactive teleporting. He felt the bubble form around him.

I wouldn't say that's useful much.

It might give him a rough idea of what Adam can do.

Each time the forcefield is popped it take a few seconds too reform

Do they have to manually keep it up? Because realistically Adam would just one-shot it every time, and either their stamina would run out, or Adam will just vaporize it with his holy light, which would in turn kill them too.

Also, his holy light upscales from his value, so if he teleports, it'd likely hit him before he can reform his shield again.

Yeah I think Adam wins this just by having more straightforward wincons and obviously the control over the matchup, voting him

Eidolon was able to fight khonshu over a period of 3 days with very short naps in between, his stamina is very good. And its not like this is his only shield, he also has a shield that's invioble

Something to keep him still.

Another power was needed.

The power was a familiar one. One he’d used to curtail Leviathan’s movements in the Kyushu fight. He reached into another Earth and pulled the cliff faces into this world.

Scion blasted the cliff faces, but his golden light only affected the cliff on this earth. The moment he stopped, more emerged.

He stopped to strike again, this time obliterating the cliff faces on this Earth and the one in the other reality.

Eidolon struck out with the erasure power while Scion was still.

(bump) eidolon has two other wincons btw, he can selectively teleport parts of your body to another dimension and can create an orb of expanding from adam's ear canal or nose.
