The Despicable Me General Discussion

to the unfortunate person who see this

is Saturday Morning Minions Canon?

the wiki for Despicable Me and Universal says it took place 1 month after Despicable Me 3

but I can't find any actually official sources

There's some neat equipment that Gru and the Minions could get from that show but idfk if it's canon

The same wiki stated it's most likely non-canon; cannot really say.

But neat stuff indeed. (particularly those others from the Minions and resistances like Gru/Vector getting tased, with former's case being used against El Macho amped with PX-41)

Mhmmm Gru really lacks some of his Abilities/Equipment. oh and also references I'll add those later tho.

He definitely should have the Lipstick Taser considering Lucy gave it to him
Uhhh

mayhaps Heat Manipulation due to that one weapon he used at the carnival

uhh that's all I can think of rn

pretty sure you need a CRT to add it to verse pages and such.
huh, weird, I've seen accepted calcs get added without a crt, in nearly all the verses I support

I usually see them get crts when you have to add it/upgrade a character with an existing profile

tho related to the Mega Minions calc.

you could probably calc the attack speed of that feat

I mean, I just assumed it's light speed, I think there was evidence that it is just a normal ass laser.
ye it does seem to follow the light speed standards

considering it shoots in a straight line and heats shit up

munch munch

I keep forgetting the name of the Despicable me 4 villain, that I decided to just call him Will Farrell.

Also what ability does the goop grenade count as, cuz I'm planning on making a crt about the missing stuff on Gru's profile after the Minions crt

Has El-Macho's very Macho-explosion scene been calced yet?

I don't think so

but I will say, that both Lucy and Gru did survive the shockwave of the Volcano exploding, and that also could be a neat feat but idk if it would yield high results considering how far away they were

I was looking thru some stuff from the G1 Blog,

Gru might actually have a Light Speed Weapon

This ****** Laser Gun
This is like the only ******* scene it appears in, and its shown to follow the standards of Light Speed

•Doesnt explode anything it hits
•Shoots in a straight line

video links are glitching for me so im quoting this

25 fps? I'm pretty sure it's 24 instead.

EDIT: Yeah, it's 24 fps.

Ship speed doesn't work cause the minimum speed to leave Earth's gravity is already 11m/s

Idk if the explosion calc would work since we don't know where exactly they were at that point
Escape velocity would only apply in cases like jumping into space or throwing something into space, most rockets don't actually reach escape velocity. Homelander isn't scaled to escape velocity speed for being able to fly into space.

The short shows the moon was relatively close to and in line with Earth, and there's also the possibility that the moon was farther away, making the speed faster. So, taking the face value given is probably the safest bet.

afaik you only need to go slower to reach orbit. To reach the moon or other planets you'd need to escape earth's gravitational pull which requires 11km/s
