I am just nullifying match because it became messy. Dante probably could have won with score he has rn. But seems like I didn't clarify somethings. Well my own fault is explaining somethings to Netoriman and Nova off-site(as well what counted, how to get higher point, why tackled)

As well to response to Tanin, I tackled first 30 previously because it attacked points of Netoriman(I explained it to Netoriman before and he was perfectly fine with it). And didn't count later slanders from nor Eheko, Netoriman cuz obviously it became bit toxic eventhough some memes were high effort.

Dante has scores that needed. But it feels like giving win to one side will cause even more drama. Rematch later might be alternative thing but it extends group stage

Counting in a sense is subjective (since you can allot extra points after a base amount i.e 1) but it still needs a reasoning, sure he could have made a mistake (he is human after all) and that's fine. And I wasn't egging him anymore about that, but since you were instead trying to defend his decisions I asked you to respond to it on his behalf. But anyways since this was a misunderstanding between both of us as you say then I apologise for the same.

I think a long time in the internet has made me extremely suspicious and paranoid and quickly finding anything out of place or observing patterns. It helps sometimes and has lead to misunderstandings other times. And my bluntness and aggression hasn't helped much. So apologies for being accusatory first by making a big post instead of just asking polite questions.

Well I meant that no need to concede or give up a match. Your goals and final score still matters in the scorer table and I feel that you or either side not getting any points for their time and efforts seems unfair.

I dont think sides are happy to get canceled but well this match is biased and rigged to be counted even as one. Match generally doesn't decide anything. And if sides want it can be replayed.
 
As the match is almost done, giving it a review (I haven't read some of the newer comments so it could be dated somewhat, as I have been typing this message for a while)

Scoring

I was very confused with the scoring and seeing in the later pages, many of the others share the same.

The invisible scoring made my posts more poor of quality, not knowing if I was posting something that is worth high points or not, I just decided that as it would be hard to tell due to invisible points, so in turn, I'd just spam posts instead. Later I was told about it, regarding slop, though initially it was confusing.

I like to know what scores what, to better represent the character I love, to make better quality posts for everyone to see and learning how to improve upon it by reflecting & striving for a higher scoring single post.

I didn't know of the score multiplier thing, it was something I went over briefly with Tanin as a joke, but didn't know it was true.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there is mention of it in the rules thread, so putting, an invisible score multiplier with invisible scores, both varying to the discretion of the judge, makes it very confusing & polarising, especially when an opposing team gets a large benefit from it, you can see how people would think the match is rigged, being impartial.


Judging

Hecky has a lot of weight to carry, from the pages he judged with DMC, there has been a ton of posts, and it seems that he has been mostly solo judging them, despite there being two judges in some matches.

So I can see there being a reason for the invisible score to cut down on work, by not directly scoring/addressing each aura post made.

Cipher was the other judge here and this was by far the largest match but I didn't see him contribute as much as Hecky.
Now there could be reasons, which I'm super speculating about, for instance, Cipher & Hecky discussing their total amount input to individual thread or Cipher having RL stuff to address.
But when I see Hecky mentioning having so much to do and calling Cipher lazy earlier on the thread, it supports the invisible scoring & possibly how the quality of this match dropped.
I'm not sure what agreement was made in place, regarding being able judge a match (if any), but if it's quite formal, I think you should honour doing it to a reasonable degree, but this is fun & games, so it could very well be informal.

Cipher did offer to help later down the thread to count scores, to which Hecky declined, though the match had already gone on for a while since. So like scoring, altogether, this was confusing for me.


Slander

My style has always been focusing on aura posts over slander.
It takes a while to research something you have no clue about (LoTM) to try and find something interesting to pick apart and potentially get no negative score reduction on the opposing team as it's constituted as incorrect/bad or baseless etc.

I already said this, but seeing a large reduction of score awarded for slander made it very appealing for me (-30 ish), at one point I was just posting slander without even using anything to back it, just secondary school esque slagging off lol hoping I would get the same reduction applied to the opposite team. From what I can tell, there wasn't another big reduction.

All in all, this is new, lots of learning for everyone. I'm not going to take away that it was bad, as I got to learn about some series' I would never of touched otherwise, plus I got myself a 300 plus collection of GIFs for DMC.

Not sure If I will continue, either taking a very long break or stepping out completely. As I'm quite tired 😴

Either way as I said if you look at table it doesn't change anything. As well getting even 1 point from this match would make Dante qualify for knockout(which is like main goal of group stage anyway) already.

Somethings I didn't clarify here, well I explained it to main players(Nova and Netoriman) off-site.

Don't worry about scoreboards, you can get to scoreboard later(And it doesn't decide anything yet).

Personally I wasn't happy with getting accused out as rigged and biased from team who was leading with massive score, hence I am stopping match cuz after drama we had rn, some people will get upset if one team will win

It's Informal, typically one of us judge a match by themselves, sometimes I judge a bit and then Hecky now I haven't been able to do much at all because I have been busy tackling RL stuff (Uni, exams and calculus) I sometimes peep threads to cheer on the supporters like I did. I leave the counting and everything to Hecky and I have been out of the loop regarding this match and I probably wouldn't have talked at all if I didn't see someone saying that the match was rigged, Hecky talks a lot about DMC and how he likes the game which is why I felt like it was a misunderstanding (because I don't think he is biased against DMC) so I started commenting in an attempt to resolve it. That's really it obviously I think there's a bit of problems with the rules and how they are described. It's just for fun and games. I honestly didn't expect this escalation so yea....
 
I'd suggest one of two options for the match:

Option 1. Conclude based on current scores.

Option 2. Mark as a draw, give both 200 points or something like that. The glaze was good for both here, neither deserves a zero.

For future threads, I recommend a tighter ruling on slander in these things.
 
Invisible scoring happening cuz noone helping me to manage matches.

Like I have no problems with elaboration why Klein got 2 for moment and why Dante got +1 for art, but well it takes pretty lot time to actively keeping up with every match.

Thus I was doing Invisible Scoring(Scores in OP) to every match. As I said earlier mostly stuff is getting managed by me alone. I made invisible scoring for making my own work easier. If someone willing to help to manage tournament(someone who is free) I have no problems with live scoring. But I hope sides have no problems with invisible scoring understanding my side
 
this match went to hell the moment the slander started

honestly if you need slander to win you don't have any aura to begin with, goes to both sides
