Seventh match of this tournament.

Da Rules:
  • Speed is always equalized
  • Combatants start ~5 meters apart from one another (or however far the MK games place fighters)
  • In the event of an inconclusive match, I'll flip a coin to choose who advances
  • For pacing purposes, tournament advancement will be chosen, at absolute latest, a week after match-up is created
  • Post-Training Joseph is used.

So Joseph has superior AP/Durability, Superior Lifting Strength, and Superior Intelligence so at a glance it seems like he could take this one pretty easily. So what would Elyun's first move be?

Speed is equalized. I don't believe he can fully dodge it, even if he can, depending on how he does it it can give her time to prepare a larger barrage of attacks.

I'm aware that speed is equalized, but how exactly does that prevent Joseph from dodging the projectiles using acrobatic maneuvers? Cause correct me if I'm wrong but don't Elyun projectles only have a straight trajectory? Plus she doesn't have doesn't have Danmaku so I don't think her projectiles are numerous enough to prevent Joseph from doging out of the way.

It's a matter of "range and speed", sure, while he could probably dodge them if they were further apart, but fully dodging an Ice lance that is the size of Slime Rimuru, with a less than 5-meter distance, would be extremely hard, since they are both moving at the same speed. Not to mention, Elyn would use this time to cast more spells. Not to mention, she would instantly be teleporting around.

The most likely thing would be "mudhands" trapping Joseph after teleporting and forcing him to "dodge", after that it would be GG if he is trapped.

Joseph does have a tommy gun and grenades so he could force her to focus on using her barrier instead. Also is her Teleportation spell something that she can spam?

The Mud hands can't really do anything here as Elyun's Lifting Strength is Unknown while Joseph is Supherhuman
 
If Joseph's Hamon touches this dude then he's screwed considering the myriad of dura neg at his disposal, like stopping organs from functioning and all that.

Well the organ stopping thing isn't really something he uses in character against humans, in fact I don't think any Hamon user has used it even once, it's just something that Hamon was stated to be capable of doing so it's unlikely to come up here,. With that said, I'd say he's more than capable of winning this even without it.

Surely she'll end up running out of mana quickly if she just continuously spam her spells without stopping. And again the mud hand won't be able to do anything here since Elyun's Lifting Strength is Unknown.

Hmm, I think he'd either punch a hole through her chest, gun her down with his tommy gun, or attach multiple grenades on her and trigger them simultaneously for a big explosion. Though with that said, I think there's also a pretty good chance that he'll choose to spare her life since he does seem to like women in general.
