BDE type 2 requires a character or construct to be on the level of a Von Neumann universe. Basically a universe that contains all possible mathematical structures, making it larger than all possible dimensional spaces, while not qualitatively transcending it or exactly lacking it.

BDE type 3 requires a character or construct to either exist beyond all possible constraints of space-time, while lacking them, to the point you're completely unreachable by them, while also being considered "too large" to exist in dimensional structures without immediately destroying them.

It can also be achieved via R>F, which you see lower realities as a form of non-existence, like fiction for example. (Dreams, Comics, Games, Movies, etc.)

Yes. Baseline for BDE type 3 would be 1-A. Anything above 1-A would also have BDE type 3, including even tier 0.

No and yes.

In the context of no, a character with BDE type 2 can't exist, fight or manipulate a character or a plane of existence which has BDE type 3.

There's only 2 cases where it's possible:

However, there are ways to bypass this barrier. For example, a non-1-A can be empowered by a higher entity into being able to influence things on a qualitatively superior level. This can happen either by a straightforward power boost, or by means of some innate metaphysical potential rooted in something from a higher reality (This can include both characters who are converted into natives of higher planes and characters who are physically lower-dimensional but have 1-A statistics). In neither case is the capability to reach into the higher level something emergent from the structure of the lower level, and therefore they are acceptable ways to get around the above hurdles.

To simplify: A character with type 3 BDE can either give a character without it a metaphysical aspect that lets them affect constructs with type 3 BDE, or they can empower them to let them ascend into the plane of existence that has type 3 BDE, in which case, the character would also gain type 3 BDE.

It's more accurate to say that BDE 2 you're still part of spacetime, while BDE 3 you're completely outside of it and transcendent to it.

BDE 3. BDE 2 can't have R>F, as R>F is restricted for BDE 3.
