A predator arrives in a derelict city overrun with unworthy prey that look like humans but in terrible condition. Turning to leave, he suddenly hears rapid shuffling, gunfire, and explosions, and sees many of the “humans” in the area get blasted to pieces in rapid succession, clearing a path towards a warehouse. The predator prepares to hunt a likely dangerous prey.

So, something important to note off the bat: since the Player is very heavily armed, the Pred isn't gonna have any qualms about using their advanced weaponry. In terms of stats, the Pred is about 2.1x stronger in AP (7472624 Joules vs 3487458 joules) and has a much higher LS, which isn't good for the Player cause it means the Pred can pretty easily overpower them and finish them in CQC. The Players Threat Sense pretty hard counters the Pred's stealth, but the Pred's gear does the same to their stealth options. A pretty big advantage the Pred has here is that their bio-mask can get info on the player's weapons, which can allow them to know if a weapon is particularly dangerous and have them take action to get rid of it.

What are some things the player can do?

I think most important to note about the player is that they only willingly go CQC against the most fodder of RotD enemies, if at all. Against anything stronger or larger, they keep their distance, and try to land headshots. Not sure if that will be problematic to the biomask, but should mitigate the threat of pred’s LS related wincons. Also, besides the bio-mask being able to determine which of the player’s arsenal has an ice or electric mod, does pred have a counter against being hit by ice or electric attacks? Also also, unless pred can disable body armor as well, chest thorn plating will get in the way.

It's gonna be hard for them to avoid getting into CQC since the Pred can pretty easily close distance with their Subsonic travel speed and acrobatics/Jump height, or with tools like their Grappling Hook.

The Biomask can eat bullets and shots from laser weaponry. And since it should be > then Pred's base dura, it's gonna be hard for the player to damage it since it's 2.1x stronger than their gear.

They should be able to avoid the bullets with their skill and take out the weapon before it can harm them. And while the Player can track them, stealth is still a valid play since Preds can sneak up on foes who can accurately track them, like Androids who can sense peeps the same way the player can.
Also also, unless pred can disable body armor as well, chest thorn plating will get in the way.
The Pred can tear apart peeps in full armor.
They'll probably only use a blunt melee against the Predator to either stun it with Knockout mod or send it flying like a mile away with Knockback mod.
It'll be hard for them to land a hit, considering the Pred has much higher CQC skill and the stat advantage. And like with other weapons, they should be able to disarm the Player if they're worried about the weapon.
The Pred should be able to fool it with Cloak and take it out with on of their weapons.
 
Chest thorn plating damages the attacker. And it’s been a while since I watched the movies so I don’t remember if preds get briefly distracted by pain or simply power through any damage as they receive it.
They are pretty pain-resistant, being able to shrug off gunshot wounds and limb loss, so they should be able to power through it.

Does pred has duraneg besides LS considering you can slap armor points into it?
 
you, i played the game alot and i remember you can add armor points with your armor via a perk.
I don’t see durability negation on predator’s profile, or anything that would ignore durability, so I’m thinking no.

The Pred should be able to fool it with Cloak and take it out with on of their weapons.
It can accurately hit Shadow who's nearly invisible, Mothena whose dark body makes it difficult to see normally at night, Vexeron who's the same on top of being able to hide underwater and burrow through sand to ambush enemies, Wraiths who can emit a dark aura that mask other enemies within it,...

I was gonna list Fumes too but neither Threat Sense nor the turret works on him due to how thick his gas is.

The Pred can still close the distance by navigating with their higher mobility or by using tools like their Grappling Hook.
It can accurately hit Shadow who's nearly invisible, Vexeron and Mothena whose dark skin make them difficult to see normally at night, Wraiths who can emit a black aura that mask other zombies within it.
Preds cloak is completely invisible and can fool very advanced trackers. Even if the cloak doesn't work, they can still get behind cover and use one of their weapons, like the Smart Disc, to home in on it and take it out.
