Spino-battle (D-side vs JP3)

This isnt as close as I thought it would be

Jurassic Park's Spinosaurus has the AP advantage, the Stamina advantage and also the range advantage (due to D-Side's Spinosaurus using its entire length for range, which isnt correct). Meanwhile, D-Side's Spinosaurus has the LS advantage (Which I dont think it could utelize that well) and the IQ advantage (which likiely isnt right either, as it says its comparable to the IRL spinosaurus and the IRL spinosaurus has Animalistic IQ)

Between the Jurassic Park's Spinosaurus having a ton of advantages and having a bigger size, the lean is towards her :0

D side have Lifting strength Class K. Its intelligence should be higher because Spinosaurus's real-life profile is outdated. Based on the latest scientific research on Spinosaurus, its intelligence should be higher.

And if you still think this fight is STOMP, I'll try changing the balanced speed rule to unbalanced. What do you think?

Do you have links for some of the more recent spinosaurus info? :0

The LS is definitely superior, I just dont see ways it can be used super effectively besides better gripping in the jaw. Even then, Jurassic Park's Spinosaurus has enough dvantages in other things to make up for it.

It a stomp, D Side AU's Spinosaurus still has ways to win. It's just that Jurassic Park's Spinosaurus seems to have more ways to win in that regard :0

Research published in February 2026 (on the new species Spinosaurus mirabilis) describes it as an extremely sophisticated predator. Hunting large, slippery fish in the complex river environment required spatial reasoning and forelimb-jaw coordination far superior to that of purely terrestrial predators. Sensory organs: Spinosaurus had a system of baroreceptors on its snout (similar to crocodiles) that allowed it to "see" in murky water. This is a form of advanced sensory intelligence that JP3 Spinosaurus (which was a genetically modified creature focused on strength) lacked.
With Class K, D-Side Spinosaurus could throw or pin JP3 Spinosaurus down in the mud. In the swamp, whichever creature could hold its opponent underwater longer would win.
Forelimb weapons: Unlike T-Rex, Spinosaurus had very large and strong arms. Class K allowed it to use its claws to pin down its opponent, neutralizing JP3 Spinosaurus's attempts to break its neck.
Flip's claim that D-Side used its body length for long-range attacks is incorrect, but in reality, the caudal fin of the modern Spinosaurus was a powerful whipping weapon. It could maintain distance from JP3 with powerful tail whips before the opponent could get close enough to use its jaws. JP3 Spinosaurus was taller, but D-Side Spinosaurus had a lower center of gravity and a body adapted for "aquatic combat," making it less likely to be overturned in swamps.
The difference between 215.48 MJ and <190.96 MJ is only about 11%. In VS Battles, a difference of less than 2× (100%) is usually considered equal and can be compensated for by skill or terrain.

Is the Spinosaurus in D Side AU this specific species of Spinosaurus?

Even high animalistic animals still dont really fight with logic. They kinda just throw each other at each other. I dont think I've seen a pair of crows or dolphins fight while using weapons or their surroundings before :0

I meant that the Tens Of Meters range value seems to be scaling off its whole body. For the value to count for the tail, the tail would have to be a bit under 2/3rds of D-Side's Spinosaurus' length (10/15 meters), and the tail looks to be a bit over 1/2 its length. As for the keeping its distance thing, the statement above with high animalistic fighting would suffice :3

Agreed with the AP thingy tho lmao

Although D-Side Spinosaurus's species hasn't been definitively identified, its body structure (especially its finned tail) is clearly based on the most recent studies of Spinosauridae. In terms of IQ, the animal doesn't use weapons, but rather terrain. A semi-aquatic predator will instinctively utilize deep water to neutralize the advantage of a land-dwelling predator. Specifically, I've just updated D-Side's size to 15-15.6m, longer than JP3. With this length and Class K LS, D-Side could easily use its superior weight and muscular strength to overpower (grapple) JP3. In a fight, the one with a higher LS and lower center of gravity (adapted to water) would control the situation, even with slightly lower AP (11%). This is no longer a stomp for JP3; D-Side has too many tools to turn the tide in the swamp!
