Again it’s just secondary material at the end of the day, everything still has to abide by game lore and checked by Sega. Sega seemed to think it was fine so blame them. Just best to ignore it if it doesn’t make sense and use games as primary. It’s like how if IDW & Prime contradicts game lore you should just prioritise Games
 
Oh yeah I doubt this'll like, change Classic's 5-A tier since the Little Planet being freed was calced to 5-A and Eggman would likely incorporate similar technology into his other stuff. But about the Death Egg Robot being Eggman's ultimate weapon, wasn't the Death Egg still being worked on with Eggman using the Chaos Emeralds to complete it?

Probably bc there's a lot better feats and Sonic has long since surpassed light speed. Still should be a good sub-relativistic feat since base characters will end up scaling to it

Speaking of calcs, about that next Death Battle if anyone is interested in engaging with the topic. In Silver vs Trunks DB calced Goku and Pikkon's trip to Hell at 29 Quintillion c and Super Perfect Cell should be able to match that. And we do know from Omni-man vs Bardock that DB using Toei material is on the table for Dragon Ball.

So that said do you guys have any bets on what Metal Sonic will be given for speed and do you think DB will give Cell the speed advantage? Why or why not?
 
At minimum Super Neo gets that, was it 73? Quadrillion x ftl.

Mind you, another trick is that I believe Goku Hell feat was done by base Goku. And somehow, Cell can actually use SSJ. So he can get funny 50x multiplier. If DB still doesnt buy Immeasurable Super forms... Well that would be sth.
 
I think they will 100% reuse the speed calc from Bowser vs Eggman and black box that the Dragon Ball universe being infinite would let Cell match incalculable Metal, and give Cell the edge in speed.

Honestly, I COULD see them finally addressing infinite-immeasurable speed scales for Sonic if they use Toei feats for Cell, and that’s because that trip to Hell feat is infinite speed.

Also how IT is treated in Toei compared to the main timelines (Still funny if Death Batlle uses Toei content, they have acknowledge just how insane the build up to the Cell games truly were: Broly, Mecha Cooler and Hatchiyack).

Also hilarious that Toei scaling massively buffs the Earthlings speed too (if we get infinite speed D6 then infinite speed Yamcha is fair lol!).
 
Can either of Metal's Overlord Forms actually keep copying Biodata from his opponents? You'd think that would have come in handy against Shadow in Generations considering he was already putting up a decent fight as is, especially with the whole "I gain resistances to the things I copy" thing, not to mention a nice stat increase.
 
In Heroes Overlord stops time with Chaos Control and is immune to it in Shadow Generations. Id say its at least arguable.

That's not what I meant, I meant why didn't he use his copy ability against Shadow again since he's clearly got new powers not in his data? Did he just choose not to or can he just not get new copies after becoming Overlord?

This is specifically Heroes Overlord, who didn’t have the “I get all your powers on contact” ability that modern Neo Metal has

This actually isn’t new news. The first page of Gerald’s journal includes a note from Tori to Tower stating she was the one who recovered the journal. So they have an established, preexisting relationship.

If they stick with 73 Quadrillion c for Metal Sonic but use 29 Quintillion c for Cell (even without any hypothetical Super Saiyan multipliers that you brought up) then Cell would have a 379 times speed advantage which is kind of wild. Honestly I'm inclined to believe that if Cell does win it will be because of speed, and if Cell doesn't win but is still given the speed advantage I'm "certainly" looking forward to the Death Battle mini lecture about how Metal Sonic being in a series known for speed doesn't help him before they segway into how Metal Sonic's hax counter the speed advantage anways.

Side note: Not a fan of it when Death Battle feels a need to hedge on their points instead of just getting straight to their arguments and reasoning so if they do give Cell the speed advantage I hope they don't pull a BowsEgg and use a "We know this may be suprising with how much Sonic loves to show how tough it's cast is while Mario is more cartoony" type statement to excuse themselves in advance for concluding that Cell is faster. Yes I know that's a petty pet peeve.

Interesting. I can see them doing that especially in regards to putting infinite speed arguments in the black boxes. Although I'm wondering if they are actually going to go with either the Paradox Prism or Time Eater shockwave for speed. After all in the BowsEgg black boxes they mentioned that both of those consumed the universe in less than 10 seconds. Meanwhile the Solaris feat was 20 seconds so if they use the Paradox Prism or Time Eater for scaling they could put Metal Sonic at 146 Quadrillion c which would be nice I guess.

Doesn't this comment from Sonic pretty much confirm that the Cyan Wisp was doing a Cyan laser at the time? Plus the Cyan Wisp seeming to always move at the same speeds as other wisps outside of the laser form

Good evening (or morning or afternoon) to anyone who still exist or is in Mephiles' situation.

After lurking around on Reddit and on the Wiki for months, I finally managed to create this account.



I'll start with thanking all Sonic supporters for their work. Both the powerscaling and cosmology blogs are fantastic. I really like how each component is broken down "step by step" and made easier to understand even for someone with only basic knowledge of how the Tiering System works.

A blog I honestly think is the best of all, it's the one about Dreams. Their relationship with Chaos Energy and how they "govern" other Metaphysical Aspects like plot and information is fascinating.
However, wasn't there a sandbox with a better wording regarding the "levels of fundamentality"?
