Star Wars Discussion Thread Canon/Legends- Episode VI Return of the Threadi

Is the Death Star calculation wrong? The laser travels faster than light, doesn't that break the rules?

-

Returning to Momin. I compiled the scans of the feat.

Is it possible to scale the pixels with any of these aliens?

Furthermore, it's said that Momin used the machine to stop time, but even so, he, his acolytes, and the Jedi were still moving. Resistance? Never mind, I took a look at Hidden Empire and even Vader and Sidious were affected, so the time stop shouldn't be affecting Momin's ship.

is there a in-universe explanation for WHY Obi-Wan looks like he's in their 80s during ANH,
like ain't no way it took 10+ years for him to look like this

Super late

But this can actually happen to you if you stay too long under the sun.

What exactly are you calculating for Legends?
Right now?

Just finished up a calc for Tulak Hord pulling down an Endar Spire sized ship (just waiting for a friend to double check it), working on a calc for Vaylin’s cut dialogue for TKing the Infinite Fleet, and I’m going to replace the art for my old Kyp Durron calc since apparently the old one wasn’t official.

Also going to see if I can refine the Rivi-Anu calc of her holding up the Venator, and then I got to do the LS portion of my existing CW Anakin throwing the dreadnaught calc.

Could you take a look?

Before I do anything, what I am supposed to be calculating exactly?

And don't we still need to take care of the stuff related to the Emergence and MGLT calcs?

As for the Death Star feat, I don't think there's anything wrong as the output for Alderaan's destruction/explosion can be calculated

The destruction of the city by Darth Momin's superweapon.

It scales to him since he provides the energy for the weapon and he manipulates the weapon's energy.

The MGLT thing is completely stalled. And it's not exactly a priority.

Regarding the Emergency situation, it's up to you to decide what to do.

But then wouldn't it have to be recalculated?

Doesn't the calculation use the firing speed to arrive at the AP?
What do you think about this?

I don't know what to do first, the change on the Force page, or the Force Spirit physiology thing.

What do you guys prefer?

My vote for Force page since that is typically more relevant
The changes won't be many.

I'll probably change the name to "Force Manipulation" since it seems some people want to create a character page like in Legends.

And removing the "Force Powers" thing was a bad idea. I'll just directly state what each class has.

In addition, I'll add the basic level of "Force Manipulation" before the Jedi.

Characters like Leia (original trilogy), Finn, and the Knights of Ren will be included there. Basically, Force sensitives without any kind of training.

I think at this basic level they only have Force Sense and vague telepathy?

And if it's based on the Knights of Ren, it's basically the thing about fear and heightened senses.

The most impressive thing is probably that Vicrul, being Force-sensitive, gets stronger every time he kills someone. There's the thing about reaping souls, but I was reviewing the scans and it seems to be more something he believes he is because he gets stronger by killing. But I don't even know if I'll add that.

Besides, of course, the weakness is that at this level the powers are completely uncontrollable.

It's complicated.

Anyway, not everyone would go back to how things used to be; we have Low 7-C Vader.
If the problem is that it's an outlier, the Jedi Order has already been able to stop a comet that would have destroyed several planets, which I think is consistent with them stopping debris that destroys moons.

The entire Jedi Order banding together to stop a comet over interstellar distances and some of them still outright dying or losing their minds in the effort is not indicative of individual Jedi being continent busters with single attacks.

Even if we were to divide the feat's value among each member of the order, it would still be at least tier 6, not counting Vader's feat tanking the destruction of a planet.

You would also have to divide by the timeframe, as feats lasting longer than a second are listed by their wattage.

Considering the interstellar distances involved, individual members could be Tier 8 or even below for this kind of feat.

Vader's feat of tanking the destruction of a planet is still valid.

Furthermore, only Jedi at Vader's level should scale to Tier 6. The Jedi were at their peak during the High Republic era; the characters are only scaling because of Anakin and Yoda's statements that they are two of the most powerful Jedi of all time.

I’ve seen that one before, and he kind of just floats away on a rock as the planet cracks from the center rather than tanking a planetary attack. I don’t think that rock is Tier 6.

Vader was hurled from the planet's surface far into space by the force of impact; a low 7C wouldn't have survived that.
