I figure this franchise should probably be getting a bit more attention, considering, you know, there's a movie coming in a few months:

I never got around to reading the Masters of the Multiverse series, so I'm not sure if that got to directly address the topic of multiversal powerscaling.

1983 He-Man is something I'll make eventually, I got sandboxes, but I just need the motivation to watch over 150 episodes just to make both He-Man and Skeletor.

Never touching the movie most likely, so yeh.

The Christmas special?
No, the one in the OP. The special is fine, but considering He-Man has not been treated nicely for the past two decades, I don't expect a live action movie to do him or Skeletor any favors.

I'd like to think that at least director Travis Knight knows what he's doing, considering I thought his work on Bumblebee was a solid addition to the Transformers franchise back in 2018.

I suppose only time will tell if he can deliver something on that level for this movie...

Looking at Filmation She-Ra's profile, it seems that she already has three different calculated moon feats that got 5-A to 5-B results, which in addition to the one 5-A moon feat that He-Man has, is quite a bit more consistent for that tier than I initially thought.

A few other Filmation verse things I stumbled across:
I know for a fact this is inconsistent lol
Skeletor clashes with He-Man often enough that they'd be comparable with the hero having an edge anyways.

Anyways, yes, the Filmation scaling chain is basically: He-Man/She-Ra(IIRC)~>Skeletor>The Supporting cast for the most part.

But it's an 80s show, you will find no nice scaling chains here.

Some info I had from years ago about Procrustus and the Starseed

Procustus, the guardian of the Starseed of Eternia, holds Eternia together with his four arms after Hordak used the Spell of Separation on the planet.

Here you can see Procustus holding the planet in the center:

Despite having to remain in the center of Eternia to hold the planet, Procustus can go outside as he did in a minicomic in 1982 when Skeletor used the Magic-Syphon to drain all the magic on Eternia:

EDIT: For some reason, last pic cannot be uploaded... Is just Procrustus breaking the ground and coming from the fall he made.

Skeletor from Filmation created Faker, who is as strong as the Real He-Man. Also, Hordak must be in between He-Man/She-Ra and Skeletor.

Yes, I know.
I actually already listed that. Probably gonna start working on both again, now that I've enjoyed He-Man and that show. As you can tell, I stopped focusing on the pages to just enjoy myself with 80s insanity.

But I don't think the OG comics belong on the animation pages. But that's the usual Reaper "I don't like having to go to things outside the actual content"

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to pull those supporting calcs and the He-Man calc to solidify those physical stats.

Edit: hmmm... Though, I admit, I would like a low-end, since the 5-A stuff is a pretty heavy high-end...

Well, as it stands, I'm gonna go sail the high seas again because Youtube is being bitchy on my computer, otherwise I have official sources which I will be using to insert scans into my references.

Edit: holy shit man, they literally put He-Man and She-Ra at MHS... did they not watch episode 1...

Probably last post in a row: I won't be doing She-Ra. She doesn't... appeal to me as a character. I'll hunt down the references for her feats for the profiles, and referencing them on her's, but that's it.

After doing a little more research, these seem to be among the more impressive non-tier 5 He-Man feats:
Plus one for She-Ra:

In Temple of the Sun, He-Man created glass with his hands (13:45)

If anyone attempts to look into the Revelation/Revolution universe, while the shows only amount to 15 episodes of material, it should be noted that there are numerous tie-ins from Dark Horse Comics connected to it:
  • Masters of the Universe: Revelation comic
  • Masters of the Universe: Masterverse (framing device)
  • Masters of the Universe: Forge of Destiny
  • Masters of the Universe: Revolution comic
  • Masters of the Universe: Andra (one shot)
Revelation and Revolution also each have an artbook.

Filmation Evil-Lyn creating a storm in her first appearance seems like it might have potential to get decent results.

Also, Filmation Ram-Man feats:

It seems that working on potential profiles for the upcoming movie could potentially be more complicated than I was picturing, as according to this, there is going to be a decent amount of tie-in publishing for the movie. Of note include:
  • Masters of the Universe: The Junior Novel
  • Teela: Daughter of Eternos (Original young adult novel, set in the film universe)
  • Masters of the Universe: The Art of the Film
  • Masters of the Universe: The Wings of Fate (Four-issue comic series set in the film universe)
  • Masters of the Universe: Legends of Eternia (Manga-style graphic novel set in the film universe)

So it does appear that how much of the power of Grayskull that Filmation He-Man uses isn't necessarily the same 100% of the time. From the previously mentioned feats and statements, we know that he can use more power at the Castle, and also that he can be granted additional power when the situation calls for it (which seems to be what he does again when dealing with the Sunstone's energies) Though I suppose that would still leave the question of what his low-end power level would be.

Maybe this could also translate into some form of Accelerated Development to help explain how when fighting a Skeletor with a 100x amp from coridite, he goes from getting easily knocked back (along with Battle Cat) to eventually gaining the upper hand in a physical struggle, despite a base Skeletor not being portrayed as that much weaker than He-Man the rest of the time.
