[This was originally fight against normal Magikarps and title was a joke about cooking them - but normal Magikarps were too weak so fight was altered]

  • The Player (Magikarp Jump) has all his Magikarps and all his equipment.
  • The Player (Magikarp Jump)'s pokemon other than Magikarps are restricted.
  • Magikarps are 9-A.
  • Bruno is by himself.
  • Speed equalized.
  • Otherwise SBA.

Couldn't think of better name for fight. "Martial artist tries to find a Pokemon he can defeat" is another name variant, but also clunky.

Changed name to something more silly.

Magikarp has 47599670.4164 Joules or 0.01137659426778 Tons of TNT. Bruno has 0.08609720611 tons of TNT. Bruno has 7.567924466976776x advantage in AP and Durability.

Without speed equalization, Magikarp has orders of magnitude higher normal speed, but Bruno has orders of magnitude more Reaction speed. So they both blitz each-other in different ways.

Since Magikarp can have moves other than Splash, he can attack - but he's weaker than Bruno.

Also, Magikarp can't indefinitely survive outside water. But he can jump to lake and back so it's not a big problem.

Magikarp also has healing and regeneration - so if fight takes a long time, Magikarp has edge.

I'll equalize speed since otherwise. Magikarp would just jump around Bruno while using Hydro Pump. - being completely untouchable since Bruno is too slow to close in.

But with speed equalized, i think Bruno would win just by AP advantage. I vote Bruno.

if bruno is 7x stronger and more durable than magickarp dosen't he just two shot them?

in that case wouldn't this be a stomp?

Magikarp has various abilities, hax and Range. Bruno just punches, but he punches hard. So it's not a Stomp.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Statistics Amplification (Via Rattled, & in the rain, via Swift Swim), Underwater Breathing (Type 2, as it can follow the player around for long distances in HG/SS on land without ill effects), Can leap extreme distances, Empathic Manipulation (becomes faster while scared), Water Manipulation, Can survive in any body of water, Enhanced Senses, Healing (via Berry + Self-Curer), Regeneration (Low), Non-Physical Interaction, Fear Manipulation (via Intimidator IQ skill), Resistance to: Metal Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Ice Manipulation, Sleep Manipulation and Water Manipulation, Dynamax
Actually Magikarp has a lot more than Bruno has, but since it's a Wild Magikarp it's still not much.

It has Regen, Statistics Amplification, Senses and Jumps.

Maybe i'll put 2 Magikarps in fight if it's too imbalanced as of now.

It has Regen,
basically useless
Statistics Amplification,
can't be used
magikarp dosen't have much sense feats, he isn't gonna be pre cogging bruno
and Jumps.
so does bruno

honestly just close the match, magikarp can't harm the guy

I think that it's not a Stomp. I'll just use 2 Magikarps. Even that's not enough?

no because of the 7x ap advantage

he's just gonna gonna two tap each of them

make it like 100 of em or something
  • Versus Threads that involve more than two characters (i.e. a 2v1) will only be added to profiles under specific circumstances, which are:
    • If a character canonically needs another character to fight at their full potential (i.e. Naofumi Iwatani and Raphtalia)
    • If one character is useless on their own (i.e. Gentle Criminal and La Brava)
    • If two characters are canonically known for fighting alongside one another frequently and supplement each other's skills in combat (i.e. Twinrova, Ice Climbers, and Batman and Robin)
    • Or utilize summons or familiars as their primary combat method (i.e. Pokémon Trainers and Digimon Tamers).
    • In addition, matches added this way must be limited to two participants per "team" to keep debates orderly and organized, with the exception being characters who primarily battle with summons or familiars. This rule mainly exists because it would create misleading results with weaker participants benefitting from stronger partners, and because it would be too messy to properly structure the win and loss sections with too many characters in each matchup result.
    • Although matches with three characters or more on one side are generally not allowed due to the reasons mentioned above, an exception is made for groups that are indexed as teams or civilizations, given their inherent notability, and mainly in order to not bloat the character profile page matchup sections with the number of participants.
Ahem. I can't just add 100x of Magikarps into fight - since that's against the rules.

The Player (Magikarp Jump)
The Player (Magikarp Jump)

But there's a workaround. The Player (Magikarp Jump) indeed has hundreds of Magikarps and nothing else. That'll work.

But in that case: should we open a new thread or edit this one?

Now: there's literally hundreds of Magikarps jumping around. But...

Durability: Island level (Comparable to trainers such as Ash Ketchum) | Wall level to Small Building level, likely higher (Their Magikarps can easily survive falling at terminal velocity and still jump up in excitement if they won, only shown to able to be killed by a Pidgeotto or being blown up point-blank by a Voltorb)
Durability: Island level (Superior to Red) | At least Mountain level+, possibly Large Mountain level (Took hits from Red's Team) | At least Mountain level+, possibly Large Mountain level (His Pokémon are more durable than before)
The Player and Bruno have Island-level (6-C) Durability. Meaning, neither can hurt each-other directly; they're massive Stone Walls. Both don't have any means to circumvent Durability. The only character who can be damaged conventionally in this setup are Magikarps.

Bruno would just tediously beat the crap out of Magikarps. Especially since Magikarps have Regeneration and can be healed. It would take a while but eventually all Magikarps Faint.

Then it's fight between the guys themselves. They can't damage each-other by just punching each-other in the face. But there's two options:.
  • Bruno has Peak Human LS while The Player has Average Human LS. Bruno immobilizes the Player and keeps pinning him down for a day, at which point he wins by "putting them in a state in which they can not harm the other fighter(s) for over a day".
  • Bruno has Poké Balls, and Pokeballs can deal 6-C damage via Return. Bruno gets tired and switches from punching to misusing Return, OHKO'ing all Magikarps and defeating The Player. The Player has no Pokeballls as far as we know.

Bruno still wins.

The Player (Magikarp Jump) has Island level durability too. Advantages nullify each-other, so it's not stomp.
Bro how do either beat the other?
