With season 2 of mighty nein and season 4 of vox machina coming on its way (possibly both this year), seemed fair to make a discussion thread for the series

I'm currently watching through mighty nein season 1, only at episode 2 as of writing this. Hope to cover it after

Finished the season, the feats that stand out to me are:
  • Fjord surviving the ship explosion (I believe it's a valid durabilty feat? He's shown being able to swim after)
  • Devil Toad (might be decent KE due to large size stuff)
  • Wulf launching giant metal doors with his hammers (I got high hopes for one being good AP, seems very likely 8-C or higher. Don't recall any direct scaling but voltstruckers should be comparable to each other)
  • Caleb's big stone hand against Owelia (Owelia tanks the KE of it slamming her into a tree, so I believe this could scale to physicals?) (It's also used against against Wulf & Astrid)
  • Giant robot guardian (doesnt scale to anyone in AP, maybe speed since people do dodge strikes)
  • Caleb's fire damages a wall during fight against Wulf & Astrid
  • Jester smashes wall with giant candy thing
  • Nott and Beau move comparably to crossbow bolt traps (decent Subsonic feat)
  • Owelia's amped speed blitzes Beau (doesn't scale to anyone)
  • Caleb and Beau save each other from falling rocks (should be decent as both speed and AP)
  • Beau & Astrid tank firework and Trent blocks one with magic (Firework speed depends on size but seems to range from Superhuman to Subsonic)
  • Molly is pushed into wall, with it being cracked (magic LS feat)
  • Molly makes energy explosion, damaging wall and floor (Seems like high into 9-A or 8-C feat)
  • Drow guys bust part of tower
  • Trent vaporizes a crater in tower
  • Trent resists a magic pseudo-black hole (dunamancy having gravity manipulation there might be an argument but I doubt it qualifies)
  • Drow craters Trent into ground with dunamancy

I'm surprised how abrupt the ending felt, weird place to end the season
Pretty sure currently the only people that scale to the drow stuff is Trent, Amped Fjord, and the Orphan Maker.

Based off the vibes the feats give, seems like a 9-A to 8-C verse while the high tiers are 8-B
Not a lot of stand out speed feats, likely just in Subsonic range

TL;DR: Jester my beloved

Has anyone watched through Legend of Vox Machina? Its three seasons so it's gonna take a lot longer to go through

I have, but it's been a while. Depending on how powerful some creatures end up being, I'm pretty sure we would be looking at the same feat range as Mighty Nein

I haven't finished season 1 of vox yet but the feats already seem more impressive than mighty nein's tbh

Still not sure. If you're referring to the dragon they kill in ep 3, I'm not certain how strong they are in this franchise. Dragons are a huge deal in Vox/Nein universe, but they could be 8-B in terms of physical capabilities and more reliant on their magic/fire breath. Again though, it's been ages since I've seen that fight
