Star Wars Discussion Thread Canon/Legends- Episode VI Return of the Threadi

we can do something similar to what dragonball does

as for scaling, i say just use stuff within the specific episodes or series, cuz each are kinda their own thing, for example the ronin episodes have their own continuity thats explored in the novels as well, and the ninth jedi is getting a full series next year so that and the 2 visions episodes between S1 and 3 are fair to use together. same thing for the other related episodes.
I'm talking, for example, about calculations related to the Star Wars films or the Force canon page itself, which lists the standard powers of a Jedi, etc.

Because some, for example, cite the films, like the episode with the twins and the Ninth Jedi, which within their own continuities state that they are after episode 9.

For example, the thing about Qui-Gon mentioning in episode 1 about the Jedi seeing things before they happen (precognition), are we going to use that for the Jedi in Star Wars Visions, or because they are different interpretations from the studios, are we only going to use what they cite?

man, Battlefront 2 is on sale rn on steam

180 pesos (3 dollars)
but idk if I should get it cuz it will take 60 out of my 140 Gb storage

it doesnt matter its similar to what we do with specific adaptions then, for example in the twins, the vacuum of space is perfectly fine for humans but toxic to droids which is contradictory to whats established there. so while episode 9 might exist in the twins, theres no reason to assume its 1:1 with the canon version as oppose to being the trigger studio version (which could have entirely different scaling)

yes i dont think general jedi statements or abilities should carry over unless they stated within the episodes or expanded media.

Okay, so that was my question.

Battlefront 2 is very good, I played the story mode, which is very good.

I think it's worth the price.

Even the online mode is good.

I think the twins have potential planet level scaling.

I got bored.

Do you have the power to ping?

Hi, I’ve been super busy today, and meant to respond earlier lol.
I was actually talking about the several of the old Star Destroyer calc(s). None of them are accepted because this was before we used vibration calculations for non-Earthquake shakes. But the Star Destroyer feat isn't like an Earthquake enough which is why that result was 9-A+ in Amelia’s calc. I made a few rudimentary calcs using the vibration formula you made and all of them upgrade Luke if the math is correct.

That’s why I asked if Star Wars uses metric tons or not.

I can send you guys the sandbox when I’m done if you want. Right now the lowest end is around 4 Tons [High 8-C] which is still above his current rating of 3.6 Tons.

Man, I hate math.

How can a 40 million ton structure shake with just 4 tons of AP.
Because there is a difference between the Earthquake formula and regular tremor calculations. Most people can't feel an earthquake below Magnitude 3, and even for people who can feel them, they might not know they are earthquakes. The lowest magnitude that's recognizable as an Earthquake is Magnitude 4. However, even if a tremor/vibration feels relatively comparable to an earthquake locally, we have to use different formulas. Real Earthquakes have further range compared to intense vibrations, and that has to be taken into account. A Star Destroyer about a mile/1.6 km, but a small Magnitude 4 can tiny ripples many times further than that.

Also, I think most quaking feats don't use the Earthquake formula unless it occurs on a planet with plate tectonics similar enough to ours. Shaking the moon, the solar system, and the universe use a modified version of the formula for tremors I think.

anyway i might make a discord for canon star wars stuff, DM me if you want to join.

also merry christmas everyone.

Hope I am not interrupting any conversations, but what tier is the trailblazer in outlaws? Also ND-5 face tanked a thermal detonator is that an outlier or would they be 8-C?
(I want to write a death battle)

What tier is dogshit in horseshit

One question: Darth Momim charges his superweapon with Force Lightning and causes that level of destruction.

Isn't that something you can't calculate?

Is this a reduction or an increase?

Do you want the Tons of TNT values to be converted to Scientific Notation?

You're not going to include the tiers like in the original calculation, are you?

Applying Earthquake calculations ends up giving results between 8-C to 8-A
