OPM: God Tiers speed upgrade

Only issue with the calc I have is the assumption the rocks only stopped moving from Saitamas own perspective rather than stopping moving entirely.

As far as I'm aware we never see them move again. Also there's scenes like this

Where unless Saitama going "ah…AH…" before sneezing is statueing the rocks as well, the rocks must be immobile. Same thing here

Where Garou purposely stops moving to focus and lands on a rock, then we're shown the top of the rocks - all of which still appear completely frozen.
The rocks also blatantly didn't appear frozen to Garou previously when Io was actually being destroyed and even appeared undodgeable to him.

So like what's more likely? That Garou randomly suddenly starred statueing the rocks with his perception, or that the rocks just slowed down (or stopped) as the force spread out and pushed them away against the gravity of the moon?

They're fully moving at high speed, even when one of them appears to stop. We've seen it many times in slow motion fights in OPM. For example, when Flashy Flash fights the ninjas, he's sent to the ground. Flashy Flash "stops moving" but everything is still frozen, or when Platinum Sperm catches Flashy Flash's punch then comments about it yet everything actually happens at high speeds etc.

(Both are similar to this as well, like Saitama cathing Garou's fist and sneeze while Platinum Sperm catches it and mocks etc)

This is the same as Flashy Flash's moment, their appearance of stopping is quite different. We can still see Saitama continuing on the background as well. We have examples of this in the series.

Even at worst, you can also say the distance Garou moves there is lower within the same timeframe that even his current rating is enough to say it'd be frozen to him at those moments. So it doesn't change this either way.

This applies to many high speed fight though? It's extremely common in fiction. (I wouldn't say undodgeable as well, as it's not even certain if it's speed the reason he was so surprised)

And, panel by panel, we do see rocks appears to stop the moment Saitama uses omnidirectional serious punch when they even had a movement effect.

Considering how panel by panel, not only rocks appear to stop but Saitama appears to come there in an instant, also other examples of slow motion fights in the series, the rocks being frozen by their perspective makes more sense imo.

Also, I wouldn't call it randomly as well. Not only it is common in fiction for some feats to happen or for the story, other high speed characters in the series also have these moments. Like Flashy Flash can't do anything there but next second, frozen style blitz, not only to the monster but the vagon as well, everything's frozen.

(Wrote most of thing using my phone, so i'm sorry for any mistakes or broken links :d)

The difference here is that we literally see the explosion move afterwards proving it IS moving.
We don't see that here. We wouldn't considered the explosion statued but still moving without that further context which is missing here.

This scene is entirely different as far as I remember.

Yes Saitama is visibly moving. Garou isn't. Saitama appears to be zooming around, the rocks appear stationary.

But they weren't frozen to him before which would still support the idea that they were slowing down as the force spread towards more mass.

I'm not sure what you mean.

Link doesn't work for me but assuming it's what I think it is, that doesn't really help. The rocks slowing/stopping over time is exactly what we would expect to happen as the energy spreads throughout the moon and pushes against the gravity.

You have to prove this stop/slowdown is caused by Garous reaction speed suddenly rising immensely.

Panel by panel doesn't really mean much when we only have like 3 panels during all of which Garou is present

If the rocks were frozen in their perspective (specifically Garous perspective here) then they should have been frozen from the moment Saitama threw them, not just after Saitama used ODSP unless Garous reaction speed suddenly started rising at higher rate than we've ever seen.

I'm not saying it's necessarily a defeater.
Don't get me wrong I'm not proving "rock solid counter evidence".

I could totally excuse everything I sent as just stuff that happens in fiction (honestly I would much prefer this calc over the current one or any goofy sneeze glaze) if I could see solid evidence the rocks kept moving at unchanged speed throughout the entire fight

I'm ngl, either my browser is broken or all the imgur links you sent are.
But I think I know which scans you meant to send so it's fine
Edit: actually the Flashy Flash minecart link works for me

Lowkey that's the crux of the entire calc lmfao.

I remember this feat used the light trails as a basis for a higher result in another calculation, what was wrong with that again?

Yeah exactly 😭

Currently it only yields like 22c or something in that ballpark. The higher ends for light trails were rejected.
Also the justification is pretty bad.

I mean, they continuously appear to be in the orbit. (They'd fall if they weren't moving, but they'd never stop moving in the real sense)

The beginning scene heavily shows them to be moving and only appearing to stop moving because of how Saitama appears instantly.

Also, that ending scene itself wasn't necessary for them to be accepted as one. For Flashy Flash scene, we would still consider the explosion to be frozen from their perspective even if we didn't see the aftermath since it is obvious. The only difficult thing would be to find the rock's speed there since we wouldn't see how far it reaches.

(Unlike the other scenes, Saitama and Garou's fight never ended or stopped in IO like that, they don't perceive it in real time in the end)

I'm talking about the resemblance to every other slow motion fight in the series + starting moment of omnidirectional serious punch.

Deleted cuz Saitama's naked lol.

These two images. Also, how is these rock standing still for the entire fight makes sense based on that? They would fall or something, not stay in the orbit.

It's common in fiction, and happens in the series as well. (Even his current rating is more than enough to see the rocks as frozen normally)

Sadly, we don't have the aftermath.

But i don't think it's necessary at all since this scene is clear imo, that rocks didn't stopped but that they only appear to be frozen.

My "imgur" betrays me. Chooses what will work and not :d

(I'll be busy for a few hours 🙏)

Hrnngh not another mini-CRT with a recalc... I'll have to sleep on this before I give input.

I'll be checking in from time to time.

Does anyone have a list of calc group members that normally work on OPM so I can ping them?

I don't think there are any members of the calc group actively working on the opm verse, only normal users

I believe that @Psychomaster35 have some knowledge about the verse

@Therefir was also a regular on the verse, although I don't know what his current standing is.
I recall Damage participating in a decent chunk of OPM threads too
psychomaster yes but I don't remember him actively working on the verse... therefir too he doesn't work there much anymore...and damage often intervenes in discussions about the verse

Well then we need to contact the relevant people...in the meantime can you add the changes to this minor CRT since it has received the necessary votes for the changes to be applied?
because it only changes stats of 3 characters and adds hax to one character
