Drag does not instantly cap speed btw, it depends on factors like the time spent in the atmosphere and considering the spear is breaking through the atmosphere way faster than a second, the drag isn't anything meaningful

I Wish it was that simple. Some authors will legit give their characters the most blatant lightspeed feats (dodges laser who meets all light criteria and is stated to be lightspeed) and then after like 4 arcs of powercreep they act like a Mach 10 speed feat is the most groundbreaking speed feat ever recorded in the universe's setting.

I wouldn't want the verse to be too weak, but I think keeping verses like csm and jjk in this general city to mountain level range makes matchups more interesting rather than just saying so and so scales higher so therefore so and so wins

That’s not the point, the point is that there’s at least one second between burning and hitting denji, that means it’s in the mesosphere and it took one second(panel) to travel down and hit him after it started to burn up, and if we argue mesosphere that means 50 km

Yeah ik, but once it’s reaches the mesosphere it takes another second to reach denji(since it goes burn up, another burn up panel, BOOM) meaning it did reach ftl speeds but drastically slowed down in the atmosphere

Oh, I get what your saying, but as I said the drag isn't great, and in the very next panel there is no 1 second timeframe, it just homes in on Denji instantly.

Yh gunshy's right, besides, getting blitzed over three seconds probably does mean Pochita was off guard, and Aging didn't even flinch from the bullet (albeit it couldn't hit him)

Not to mention Rel scaling makes the speed scaling complete, after I get those Reze calcs and the movie cannon thread gets accepted. There will be no unnecessary gaps or jumps, while also fixing many speed problems we had prior.
