I don't really think much of it, once the spear begins to accelerate we get a few snapshot angles before it crashes down on Denji instantly.

The calc in this reddit post is only with 1 second time frame, so ignore it.
But someone comments that objects only burn like that in the Mesophere, maybe it did move such a significant amount of distance in two panels, then slowed down after it was burning?

Idk if anybody thought about this but the spear Yoru made is similar to Odin's spear gungnir, which in myth is stated to never miss it's target once thrown, I think that's cool

Thats what ive been saying, the spear seems much faster at launch then got slower after traveling those hundreds of Kms so Denji đoging them close range is more impressive if anything

If this was summoning it would have went to Yoru but no the spear formed then lock on to Denji from the Moon then beeline to him so i think this is its normal Attack speed

For example you dont see any visuals that would indicate fast movement in first panel, and it kinda just gets menacingly placed in the next panel as a set up.

Taking the reading of it being already in quick motion doesn't make much sense. We always see this type of stuff with the visuals that indicate movement. We even see it when it's being lifted off ground, but then in next panel it just hangs in space then shortly moves down to Earth (because its making use of homing system).

Idk, but if Denji gets them as optional equipment and there's also an arms devil it would be funny to see Denji's opponent chase him as both hop around as torsos.
