U.A. Sports Festival Final Event, but it's an 8-A tournament (16/16) (Full)

Btw it's getting a little late for me back I'ma try and check off all the new submissions and update the number of spots remaining before I go to sleep. I prob won't get around to updating the character list in OP til morning tho.
You could always ask for help, assistant supervisors stuff.

Gonna just add character names to the OP so I can more easily keep track of who's in. I'll add the user and profile links later.
Also added a placeholder for myself cause I'm greedy.
Scaling to 358.50 tons
Seems fine.
Scaling to 183.336 tons
Seems fine.
East Blue Saga Luffy (113.737405327 tons)
Seems fine.
I’ll just submit Cuphead by himself then, I’d REALLY rather not risk the possibility of Cuphead fighting Mugman and get the incon of doom.

As for his loadout, I think the Divine Relic Charm and the Invincibility Super Art is fair game for Cuphead. He barely scales above baseline so the people here are def gonna be way stronger.
Got it.
8-B Tycoon with Ninja and Boost.
Thanks to desire, he will fit the 8-A requirement (restrict boost time tho)
Seems fine
Pre-Retcon Storm and Transformed Iceman, both upscale from baseline (100 tons) while Storm's lightning scale from 371.4345 tons
Both seem fine
Standard Body
Prob fine.
Ralsei's probably fine as a second pick, right?
Edit: Also if he's too busted throw Susie in
Ralsei is fine.
I'll submit these two:
Yixuan (448 Tons)
Sasaki Haise (893 Tons)
Both are prob fine.

With that, all the slots are filled! I might take out some characters when I double-check profiles later, but rn we got all the slots taken up. Honestly, I might bump up to 32 slots in the morning, depending on how I'm feeling.

Ngl I prob should have had it be one character per person but thats hindsight ig.

OP has been fully updated! I wanna add character AP values but I’ll do that before matches start.

I’ll work on the bracket when I get back to my computer in a few hours. In the meantime, if anyone wants to change anything or tell me I messed up somewhere nows the time to do so.

Here's the bracket! I'll wait a few more hours before I start the matches in case peeps want to make any last-minute changes.

Dude, I remember Bakugou already beating Yang in a match... And like, he scales to 711 tons... Weiss, good luck, you're gonna need it.

To be fair, Weiss has a significantly better bag of abilities to rely on compared to Yang. She has a lot of elemental abilities, a gargantuan speed amp with time manipulation and it will never be a 1v1 with her.

What are the rules?

Entry Rules:

  • Characters must be 8-A physically.
    • I'll consider characters if they're very close to being 8-A (E.G a character who's a little under 100 tons or a little over 1 killoton)
    • If a character has attacks higher than 8-A, they will be restricted if possible.
  • Characters must be able to fit in the arena.
  • No goofy hax or anything that hard prevents the character from losing with no workaround.
  • two characters per person

VS Thread

  • Fights will take place within the Fighting Tournament Ring with a full stadium.
  • Competitors are informed of the rules and that they're in a nationally televised competition.
    • Competitors will act in character with this knowledge (I.E a Competitor that doesn't care about winning and fame, not fighting as hard as they normally would, or a Competitor that would kill the opponent despite knowing the rules).
  • The conditions for winning a match are: knocking out the opponent, rendering them unable to move, or getting them to step out of bounds/surrender.
    • Another wincon is if a competitor does something that would get them "disquified' in-universe, that would also count as a win for the opponent (I.E, if Character A kills Character B, that would count as a win for Character B in a VS Thread)
  • Killing the opponent/overbrutalizing them, harming or attacking the audience intentionally or unintentionally, or bringing in outside help, will result in an in-universe disqualification.

Tournament Thread Rules:

  • If a character gets no arguments for around 3-4 days, the opposing competitor will automatically go to the next round.
  • If a thread gets no votes or the votes are tied for 3-4 days, I will decide who I think advances based on the arguments given.
    • If a character I submitted is involved, however, I will coin-flip instead to prevent any bias on my part.

Is there smth else that could get characters disqualified aside from killing someone?

“Overbrutalizing them, harming or attacking the audience intentionally or unintentionally, or bringing in outside help, will result in an in-universe disqualification.”

Basically if you beat them within an inch of their life, you bring others to help you or you attack the audience disqualifies you.

Gonna drop the first 4 matches in 2-3 hours, so last call if anyone wants to change anything or request a bracket shuffle before everything's locked in.

Bringing in outside help, attacking the audience, and anything else that obviously wouldn't fly on national tv.

Also this is the third time a Kamen Rider has to fight someone from deltarune in a tournament. Like are we fated to be like this lol?
