Invincible season 3 discussion

also since the red rush vs metro man battle was basically overkill, I decided to make something more fair

Season 4 teaser trailer:

Someone change the thread name. Also did Mark just broke the 4th wall ?

Actually, a new thread is made for each season

Tho most of the scaling will remain the same from here on out lol. It should've always been just one thread anyway

There is a scene where they indirectly mention their fans complaining about the quality

So, yeah they know

True, but that scene is just a televised version of a scene that happened in the comics.

During the first few issues of Invincible, the art style was a bit primitive, and panels would often get recycled. I believe some fans did complain about this in the Q&A section of the comics, where the creators would respond to criticism, questions, and fan art submitted by fans. (I vividly remember a question a fan wrote basically asking how Mark went ten whole days without needing to poop during the Mars mission, to which Kirkman, IIRC, jokingly responded that Viltrumites have the ability to hold it in for long periods of time)

Hey y’all. A usual MHA and Sonic scaler on this platform.

I just wanted to ask cuz I’m debating some Invincible scaling with someone: Does the databook of the “near light-speed” statement regarding Allen occur before his first evolution? Otherwise, how do we know that statement’s in reference to that earliest version of him (outside of other rela+ feats and scaling ofc)?

I don't know how it was determined on this site, but Allen woke up in #38 and didn't show up again until #44. Both Vol.1 and Vol.2 cover material before or just up to #38 (Allen waking up is noted, but it doesn't note anything past Angstrom's first attack in Mark's section, or the Sequids coming back in either Shapesmith or Rus Livingston's sections). Allen's section also notes that the limits to his new strength hadn't been tested, so there's not much reason to believe the flight section was in reference to his 1st evolution.

Vol.1 of the handbook looks to have been published the month #38 (Dec) came out, or the month after, with Vol.2 being a month after that.

Hey is there any way you could take look at any of the pending calcs for Invincible 🙏
There's like a dozen of them and most have been pending for months and no cgms have looked at any of them despite them being posted in the calc evaluation thread and bumped multiple times.

Tech Jacket Throws a Space Ship Into the Sun (Comic) Priority 1
Invincible and Tick Push a Martian Moon (Comic) Priority 1-4
Atom Eve's Construct Survives the Explosion of a Spaceship (Comic) Priority 3 (4 if the drilling 3 miles underground is accepted)
Universe's Immune System Destroys Galaxies over time (Comic) Priority 1-2

I've looked at all of them except for Immortal throwing a plane since that is just priority 4. I think I have a problem with all of them, but I'm going to sleep now.

On the calcs you made, they are very hard to read, the Nuke feat from the Mauler's twins, in the speed section, it is just a mess, very hard to understand what is actually happening, here are some tips:
  1. Put the actual vallue of the pixel lines in the calc and explain what each of them are (Red line is X pixels, Yellow line is Z pixels, Blue line is Y pixels)
  2. Try to tell what you are trying to do, say why you are doing A or B, why you're making C assumptions, why you are doing the calc the way you are doing. On simple calcs that can be fine, but on some of them, like that Nuke feat, are just hard to understand. Other culprit is the last feat, you made the assumption that guy moved 180 degrees with his legs, when that's not what he did, he moved his whole body
Also from your calcs: All your planet curvature scaling are numerically wrong, for some reason, they all should be lower then what you got

Now I sleep

Thank you. I'll start going through all of my calcs and fixing everything. I have no idea how all the values for the pcs were inaccurate when the equation I had was TwT
Also how would I go about finding the distance the guy moved with his whole body in that panel? Would I just use him moving his body 90 degrees?

Gime a few minutes, I wrote it there but I was a bit sleepy, prob not fully accurate

Hey there.
I've been pretty busy these past months so my CRTs were suddenly put to a halt, tho in the next couple days I should be free to go at it once again.
Tho apparently not much has happened, can't say if that's a good or a bad thing

Gave these a look. Nice to see Eve's and Japandroid's feat are finally accepted. I have a draft for the Low-Mid tiers speed CRT, I'll get to it in the next couple days

Outrun's mhs feat got accepted too, and there's two more feats on that caliber for her that I just found. I'm going to be slowly fixing all of mine and get them accepted fairly soon as well, so you'll have plenty of stuff to work with for crt's lol. I also will make a few CRT's in the near future as well.

Got to note in that same issue Brit's Jet Gloves have a feat of flying from the Big Ben to Upstate New York, which should also be in the MHS ranges, tho I should mention it more than likely doesn't scale to physicals since they hammer down that they're difficult for him to control

And even later on when he's gotten used to them he doesn't have something like an aerial fight viltrumite-style that would support it

And he hasn't really used them for an aerial fight viltrumite-style that would support it
It definitely wouldn't scale to his movement speed but I could see his reactions scaling, since him struggling to maneuver with them is most likely due to them applying propulsion at just his hands which would be hard to control anyway.

Also this is a really good feat for Cho. Even if we give Immortal like peak human reactions, it would still get Cho to Relativistic+. I'm not sure who exactly this would scale to other than him and Viltrumites but it's interesting to note.

Calculated it. It got to Mach 259. I also calculated one of the other Outrun feats, but it was lower than the previous one, and the other one would be around the same speed too.

btw here's Martian Mman

btw here's martian man
This is literally just Shapesmith but worse. Could you not at least find something from fighting the Mauler Twins and Nolan? He restrained Nolan pretty well I recall. As it stands he's basically a duplicate with no relevance to the scaling

Why is the texas asteroid feat for LS a Possibly rating but on his AP it's a Likely rating? Shouldn't it be both Likely or both Possibly?
