this has the potential to be either extremely funny, extremely stupid, or maybe both

for backstory, uhhh the red ribbon army hires the cunning hares to kill goku or something idk

Rules :
  • Speed Equalized
  • Emperior Pilaf Arc Goku is being used here. Great Ape transformation is restricted.
  • Fight takes place in an empty Lumina Square
  • All combatants start 12m away from each other
  • SBA otherwise.

Cunning Hares :
Advantages :

Goku
  • About 2x stronger than every member of the Hares individually
  • Massively outskills every member of the Hares by a ridiculous margin
  • Would likely be able to oneshot any member of the Hares with a Kamehameha
  • Far superior range with Kamehameha and Power Pole
  • Mobility advantage via Nimbus
  • Accelerated Development would only help him get stronger as the fight progresses
  • Superior stamina means he could very easily beat out the Hares in a prolonged battle of attrition
Cunning Hares
  • Numbers advantage
  • About 1.8x stronger than Goku combined
  • Every individual member of the Hares has a ridiculous LS advantage over Goku
  • Various status effects such as Corruption, Assault, and Shock would wear Goku down over time
  • Stat reductions + Damage Boost and Stat Amplification would help lessen the AP gap
  • Vital View would help every member of the Hares avoid potentially game ending attacks
  • Every member of the Hares is smarter than Goku in terms of general intelligence

Why would the Hares try to murk a 12 year old who looks like he's even younger than that?
 
i guess i'll just bump this to see if there's any interest, but i do want to at least highlight the fact that i don't think this is a stomp, and if anything, i think the hares actually have a pretty good number of sizable advantages against goku here

first of all, goku's blessing by bardock was to make things that otherwise would be fatal to him not kill him. this does not protect him from being knocked out however, as we saw tambourine was able to do just that in OG dragon ball. the hares wouldn't be able to kill goku (obviously), i think winning via knockout is very much possible for them with enough accumulated damage. in any case, i don't think KO'ing goku is an impossible task for the hares, and although goku's blessing would prevent the hares from killing him, it doesn't mean they wouldn't be able to win.

now listing off their advantages, first of all they have a ridiculous LS advantage, with every individual member being 24x stronger than him. the hares get massively outskilled, but the LS advantage likely means they'd either be able to at least wrestle with goku if necessary, or they straight up might be able to LS tear him. the massive LS advantage also means that nicole's black holes are going to be a very strong asset, which i'll get more into shortly.

the hares all have vital view here, which gives them a ridiculous 34x reaction speed and perception amp, which is a massive advantage. (i honestly think this might make this kind of one-sided, but i'll wait to see if anyone else has any thoughts on it.) they'll all have more than enough time to dodge goku's attacks and counterattack. goku does have a mobility advantage with nimbus, and better ranged options with both the power pole and Kamehameha, but if nicole manages to catch him with one of her black holes, the LS gap means he's going to get dragged right into it, giving the hares ample time to jump him and get plenty of attacks off. the hares' multitude of status effects like assault and shock would also give them more windows of stunning goku while also simultaneously accumulating more and more damage onto him. coupled with their various ways of boosting their own stats while also debuffing goku, as the fight progresses, they'll only be getting stronger.

goku still has a general AP advantage over every member of the hares, he obviously outskills every member to a ridiculous degree, and his superior range and mobility means he could play keepaway with nimbus, his power pole, and the kamehameha. his superior stamina also means he could just wear the hares down over time and win out in a battle of attrition. but i do think the hares have a number of pretty notable advantages that i don't think should be ignored, and if they manage to catch him an attack with say, one of nicole's black holes, that is a very easy way for them to snowball and accumulate loads of damage onto him
 
I don't think this will be a Stomp, but I'm sure the Cunning Hares are going to have a hard time. Goku has an advantage being blessed, but the blessing won't protect him from Nicole's corruption effects, nor will it prevent the Vital View blitz, so no matter how skilled or lucky he is, he'll eventually take damage. However, I can see Goku resisting an initial wave of attacks, especially ranged ones. I'd normally say the first to fall would be those who go in close combat first, but considering Goku's skill with his staff, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have much trouble dealing with Billy Kid. Besides, he already has plenty of experience dealing with people with weapons, or at least he's shown no problem reacting to projectiles and handling entire armies with weapons, so it's likely Goku will quickly disarm Billy and then deal with the others before they can overwhelm him. Things like LS's advantage aren't very significant here, since ironically Goku, with his ability, can defend himself very well with his staff and end up hitting most of them before they can even land a hit on him. I'm going with Goku.

In that case, with Goku being faarrrrr more skilled than them all, and can spam fire Ki blasts. Which Ki can do Soul damage. There's his insane Accelerated Development makin him stronger...

And most of all, let's not forget he took down the entire Red Ribbon Army...

pretty much yeah, though to be fair, a 34x amp is a very considerable boost. even if the amp only lasts a few seconds that still gives the hares ample time to counterattack or reposition themselves to avoid attacks

where is it listed that ki does soul damage? i don't see it on goku's profile or the ki manip profile. regardless though, afaik i don't think goku spams ki attacks in this key, pretty sure he relies more on his martial arts + nimbus and the power pole

I swear it was said somewhere that Ki damages the soul.

But anyways, you are right that Goku isn't one to spam Ki blasts least at that time.

But I think Goku can def figure out how Vital View works, and work around it.
 
Since it says Ether strikes harder on things that have "a soul", could that be considered a sorr of Soul Corruption?

Cus If so, Goku resists that.

ok yeah, just checked again. ki manip does have soul damage, but that's only for advanced users, which goku doesn't fall under with this specific key. he has resistance to soul damage, but considering none of the hares have soul-based attacks, that doesn't really matter here

the wording does emphasize souls, but i think the implication is moreso just the fact that ether corruption has a stronger effect on sentient beings compared to non-sentient ones. it's why ether corruption specifically is stronger against robots and androids like billy with self-awareness, compared to non-sentient robots and other machines. this is something that's emphasized constantly throughout ZZZ's story, so until we get more direct statements/evidence supporting the idea that ether corruption specifically targets a person's actual soul i'm more inclined to believe that it's just more effective against beings with sentience

(also on a semi-related note we're waiting to get approval on an ether CRT right now that'll give it more nifty stuff like duraneg, mind manipulation and fear manipulation)
 
Out of curiosity would the recent Ether and LS changes make any difference? I'm fine with the voting into grace but I'm just asking

kinda forgot the hares' LS got buffed in the time i made this post ngl. but it actually makes a pretty substantial difference. the LS gap between goku and the hares was already pretty wide (about 24x), but with them now being class M every member of the hares individually is uh, almost 400x stronger in LS lol

the new effects ether has would also mess goku up pretty bad since he doesn't resist a majority of the effects in this key. dura neg, empathetic/mind manip, fear manip, perception manip, and pain manip

honestly with such a comical LS gap plus the various ether effects that goku doesn't resist i'd honestly say those changes alone are kind of enough for the hares to sweep imo but we're already in grace so, can't really argue against it unless people either wanna vote for the hares or change their votes

pretty much, yeah. ether corruption gets accumulated the more damage nicole specifically deals to goku, since she's the ether character of the group. since a majority of her attacks are massive AOE psuedo black holes that can pull enemies in and deal continuous damage, that can rack up pretty quickly

i tried adding it to goku's page when grace ended but his page is locked so i can't, i'm not sure if i have to get permission to add it or something
