Personally, I don't think there's any merit here. The most it'll do is maybe add small supporting evidence that NiGHTS is canon to Sonic but that's about it

That's valid. With things like the countdown arts depicting Sonic actually interacting with some of the post launch characters, it does make me think there's good evidence that they exist.

I might make a small justification CRT abt it in the future along with a couple other things, but I've noticed how in The End's JP speech, it says "there's no way to challenge thine foolishness" as if to say "you are literally so stupid it's not worth convincing you of your death, taste my infinite light lmao" or something of the sort, unless Windii's translation is off
Note that I still think The End has at least limited fate/law manip which gives Sonic and Sage those resistances, esp since Sage also notes that Sonic will soon transcend fate in the english dub of Final Horizons and The End's speech implies it as well

Quick question, if a flow of Time gets distorted and age a child into adulthood (but wouldn't reverse adult back into a child) is that Time or age manipulation?.

Because Eggman ride/ship have different flow of Time, but didn't know whether it's time or age manipulation, since almost of sonic time (and space) are all treated as time(space )manipulation. Including if this moment cause by speed or hyper-go-energy or something else.

Metal Sonic is just not written. He is Eggman's guided missile. Only his IDW solo story gives him any character in modern times.

He suffers like other villians such as Doctor Doom or Reverse Flash, when at the whims of an author that needs to follow the "narrative status quo" even tho but all metrics they should win and kinda gives ammunition to detractors to dismiss any potential stakes as "plot armour will win in the end, so what's the point?".
Outside his verse and without being sabotaged by a morally bias narrative, Metal is a menace but in a story... well he got fed to base Batman lol!

Well given that last person to use em was Eggman, I feel like its pretty obvious that he ended up hiding the lot of em in the Special Stages we find em.
