Priscilla Barielle vs Malenia

The first match I have with Priscilla was invalid which is expected tbh as that one was more of warm-up considering I have planned to put her with the others that I got earlier, more particular this one, as I wanted to make an Elden Ring matches but didn't get a chance but here we are
Not expecting this to went smoothly tho due of Priscilla's Yang sword but we'll see, If it's ended up invalid/stomp again then that's fine for me kekw

  • 7-A Malenia, she start with Goddess of Rot mode
  • Both are in-characters
  • Starting Range: 10 meters
  • Win via incapacitation and death

Well as always with ER stuff, a lot of it is outdated, although a little less so for Malenia since we got the spells blog passed a while ago.

Outside of that though, I see no scenario where she wins as is here. As of now, assuming I'm looking at the right numbers, Priscilla has high AP (by around ~40 megatons), higher speed (by a wider margin), and resists most of her hax. Scarlet rot is primarily staved off with fire, and while the effectiveness of this varies, characters like Radahn were able to resist death and stay alive (although half mad) because of having fire within them (his great rune burned to keep it at bay). Priscilla seems to have something similar with her fire manipulation, and likely to a great extend since it burns down to a person's soul. So yeah, she probably just catches Malenia off guard with a faster swing and immolates her while resisting all of her rot attacks.

resists most of her hax
Check again, she only resist durability negation, disease, and poison, and even the latter are limited
I said this because Scarlet Rot deal the status effect right? Which include madness, corruption, and conceptual damage on it

Poison automatically gets burnt off inside of her

She has resistance to this via resisting Sirius's authority
and conceptual damage on it
She resists this too but this isnt on either of their profiles

I actually got this confused with the witches but she resists mind hax and Sirius can induce madness so I suppose it wouldn't work anyway
thing is, the Sirius authority resistance that being listed on Priscilla only said Soul, Fear, Emphatic, and Mind, no madness being listed there

Seems like a cool match but Priscilla sees a bunch of rot and plants growing around her, she'll just burn it/soul attack it all down via range.

madness comes under mind manip

As for this, why it's mentioned twice in her profile then? Especially the last part where it's literally said "limited resistance to poison"?
Before she got her yang sword she was poisoned with a lethal poison but she manages to survive after making out with her best friend, after she got the yang sword poisons were effectively useless since she could just burn it up

madness comes under mind manip
That still need to be listed on her profile, just because it's under said abilities doesn't mean it doesn't need to be included, it will make a confusion just like I get right now

Then the limited thing should be removed

Scarlet rot is quite literally a disease itself. If she can quite literally burn the disease out of her body, then it gets culled out before it can cause debilitating madness and corruption.

The conceptual damage also is, frankly, a bit weird? Honestly I probably should've listed that as a minor hax, since really the only runes that we know actively affect concepts are the Rune of Death and the Mending Runes. Most great runes, like Radahn's and Malenia's are mostly structural or provide specific powers. To use a biology example, it's kinda like how in DNA you only have a set number of coding genes, while others are still required but are non-coding. Most great runes are non-coding, and while they still are vital to the concepts the Elden Ring embodies, most of them aren't wholly linked to one thing as far as we know.

I feel like you have to just find someone who resists soul manipulation and is equally skilled as Priscilla.

Kamen Rider it is then
I don't mind people who doesn't have a resistance to soul bullshit as long they can pull out something bs too

But jackass aside, James know better about Hibiki so you can ask him about the skill level the Oni in Hibiki have

@Chritin should I change to Mohg or someone else then? It seems like this is way too one-sided in Priscilla favor
Unless you go for stronger characters like Lords or gods, no ER character is gonna have a chance. They don't have many hax to specifically outcompete the AP and speed gap here.

To be fair, Hibiki in his 7-A key has 'dura neg' via sound manip, which actually has two (or three?) layers. It is over if she gets sound pulsed through her body.
Oh, that even make the planned match more fairer then alongside with prior knowledge/prep, considering Priscilla resistance to durability negation seems only on one layer

But I need Stella and Vort thought on this first, I'll make the match regardless but I want to know from their side

Soul marriage makes this moot. He has to do this several times before she touches so much as a single hair on his head.

Alright, I take that as a green light then, I'll make Hibiki vs Priscilla later on so you guys can argue there, feels like remaking this thread is kinda pointless since it's gotten long kekw

Actually wait, before that I want to know how good her precog @VortechsTG
From the profile it seems pretty insane but I need to know the true capacity of it

Fair enough for singular sound attacks, but what Hibiki usually does is this, which just renders her soul marriage moot unless she has lots of it.
This, all of the other sound attack clips on his profile, and even the written description of the ability on his profile all suggest he has to directly hit his opponents for the durability negation to take effect. His only ranged sound-based abilities on his profile seem to either only push opponents back or be concentrated and easily dodgeable. He has to get into extremely close quarters combat to do even a single strike, and she is a far more skilled opponent with a much longer effective range, who can tank a few of these attacks, and who only needs a single light brush to incinerate his soul.

Unless she has resistance to the sounds of those direct attacks (which the monsters shown actually do, hence tanking it far better than they should), she'll still be susceptible to the sound pulsing through her. Also that big attack requires to be set up by having Hibiki paralyse her.

One big thing is that Hibiki in this form has an army of disk animals by his side that will come to his aid at their own will, so EBG has to deal with a whole slew of enemies. Also they can go invisible. So there's going to small invisible summons that has the same AP as Hibiki, and he can enhance any of them to become stronger variants of their current forms.

But yeah, ReZero skill shenanigans kinda **** him up anyway since his series is very grounded, unlike the skill stuff we get in the later shows.
