Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

"Let me tell Vivziepop to go draw a universe-sized planet." Like lmao, Dragon Ball is right there.
TBF, besides the visual aspect... isn't this how Dragon Ball Universes work? In Zeno's Palace they're just floating on top of his Garden rocks and by Whis they're visually represented by 12 Planet-like orbs circling each other in a ring.
What the **** are you talking about? Dragon Ball didn't draw something universe sized, you can't even draw something of a size of a universe, that's the only reason why Vivziepop calls them "cosmic representations" The best you can do is try to draw something that looks like a universe (despite the fact we don't even know what a universe looks like) and that on its own wouldn't even be accepted without a direct statement saying it is a universe.

Ignore the series guys statements are more important 🧐
we need both, but come on this is a bit ridiculous.
Where it was said that Alastor has red hair? IS IT SAID IN THE SHOW THAT ALASTOR HAS RED HAIR? OMG HE DOESN'T HAVE RED HAIR!
IS NOT EVEN THE SAME EXAMPLE HOW IS.
The way it appears in the show (visual medium of storytelling) is as a planet, with cities and a surface...
you can't even see the city, you only see a ball of light from outside, also it somehow HAS A SUN...
Are you being for real lmao
has much has you are being for real

That's not what I'm talking about, silly. I'm talking about how Dragon Ball has a solid statement about something, and then the storyline doesn't contradict it by showing, idk, the planet being the size of other planets, let alone making a plot line based on that. Which is what Hazbin Hotel does with the idea of their planets being universes.
Also:

Now granted, he's not universe sized, but if the Hazbin planets were shown like this the idea of them being universe sized would hold way more weight.

I don't know at this point how many times I'll repeat this, but here we go:

Vivziepop explains that these are cosmic representations, hence why they look like planets and seem to be the sizes of them, now this doesn't contradict whether or not they can be reached or whether or not they are universes.

The only reason I'm using the idea that they are within a larger universe rather than 2 universe is because the wiki dictates that I'm supposed to do that, which proves that there's actual instances of this in fiction, and rather than just denying them, made a rule to bypass it without accepting them as separate spacetimes but still possibility of them being universe-sized.

Literally without the context of the scene this wouldn't have been accepted as actual universes.

I will no longer respond to another message regarding this argument unless a CRT is made on it.

Sure, you can make all the CRT you want so we can deny it every single time, I'm also done arguing about this nonsense.

About overlords being tier 6, I really can't agree with it. Not only Val have numerous antifeats, but saying that it only scale to their magic doesn't make sense when they can tank each other spells without problem

Imo, we should get the value divided by the amount of overlords that helped, but not scaling every single one of them to it at all, only the ones that we KNOW that are strong as ****

It would be a safe lowend. We know that Alastor, Rosie, Charlie and Emily there are a dimension above everyone, so it makes sense for them to scale above the average value

Imo, something like "At least tier X, likely far higher" is safer than assuming that any random is 6-C

Mythic, it was supposed to be in a joking manner. Don't take everything to heart.
Can't expect everyone to react the same way to a joke, I simply don't like the joke nor the way both of y'all were acting, why tf should I act like you both weren't being assholes?

Not only Val have numerous antifeats,
What anti feats? The only people who he fought are people who contributed to the feat, with the exception of Cherri Bomb who seems to be physically close to them anyways and iirc only hit Valentino with bombs.

Val does have a couple of anti-feats with Cherri but they can really be dismissed as outleirs. Average Sinner = Overlord will never make sense.

This is completely arbitrary since we don't have any concrete way of knowing how much each one contributed.
It is arbitrary to say that everyone there helped equally when we know that it's impossible for such. Scaling everyone to the average value is dumb with so many anti feats

We know that Alastor, Charlie, Emily and Rosie helped more than the average, and as such, we scale them to it, but not the cactus overlord that was shaking in fear by meeting Zestiel

Yeah tbh something I never liked about the previous profiles was how Sinners were 8-B+ and Overlords who are like incomparably superior were 8-A lmao

It's way more concrete to do so actually. (And the show doesn't directly imply which ones are contributting more as I said)

If these are the antifeats you're talking about this is pretty much just vibescaling.
