Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

Yes, it seems to be a consensus here, and even if you are right then this attack is MFTL+ and thus is an outlier without any question and you can forget about it.
all of you are wrong then (wish I had the meme).
Also since when did we accept That? WHERE IS THE COSMOLOGY BLOG?or something like that

Again, hell is not a planet, dammit it only said to by LIKE a planet but is not a actual planet.
Like come on, do you really think Hell is a planet?????
You know, every time this is brought up I just hear

"B-but Vivzie said--"

THEN WHY IS HEAVEN VISIBLE FROM HELL?! WHERE'S THE STATEMENT IN THE SOURCE MATERIAL IT'S A UNIVERSE?! WHY CAN VOX LITERALLY SHOOT AT IT FROM HELL?!

Honestly how about we argue that light beams are real in HH and this is a huge ahh supportive? (Because otherwise FTL is outlier here yk)
Yes, let's get Emily's Combat speeds and reactions calculated, this could be a great buff, yes indeedy.
Hellaverse Lightspeed to Ftl scaling was in the trenches in season 1 only to have a resurgence in season 2, spectacular
Also, notice how Angelic "invulnerablity" didn't get this sort of treatment 👀 👀 👀

Man, Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater/Fire Force, DRAGON BALL, One Punch Man, One Piece (yes I know I just mentioned pure animes with this one) all of them have the same ******* size problem.
Also where is the contradiction?no one in the show mentions Heaven to be a planet, why do we ASSUME THAT IT IS?and why do we assume that Hell is also one (based on....nothing?)

Tbf Overlords stomp regular Sinners. They quite literally throw themselves in fire after seeing Zestial and he is not even the strongest there. So no real anti-feats.
No bro you don't get it, being Tier 6 means that you're always destroying islands and stuff, wdym you punched a hole through a wall? A true Tier 6 would destroy a continent if they do that. Clear 9-A behavior.

Give me liberty
Give me fire
Make 99% of fiction Tier 9 at best via this peak reasoning
Or I retire

Argue the entire hotel is lined with angelic steel before I start supporting that
I always thought that angels aren't invulnerable but their armors are immune to anything but angelic metal or just energy that trespasses their physical boundaries, such as Cherry Bomb's explosions, but I'll admit that's just me fixing Vivzie's writing mistakes.

Valentino ain't that though, and just regular sinners (Cherry and Angel) can beat his ass. Hell a Robo-Fizz is relative to him.

Like it'd be one thing if it was just scaled to "Strongest Sinner" tier guys like Al but we're not treating it like that apparently?

Man, Gurren Lagann
considering what I've seen of that show, aren't some of the robots the size of galaxies? False equivalence.
Soul Eater/Fire Force,
Verses are allowed to have big planets
DRAGON BALL,
Now this is just funny! Can you see Universe 1 from Universe 2? The answer is no. False equivalence.
One Punch Man, One Piece (yes I know I just mentioned pure animes with this one) all of them have the same ******* size problem.
None of them do. OPM and OP are literally just big planets.
Also where is the contradiction?no one in the show mentions Heaven to be a planet, why do we ASSUME THAT IT IS?and why do we assume that Hell is also one (based on....nothing?)
Because you can ******* look up and both can see the other. Even planets can't do this shit, you're lucky we aren't calling them moons.

Cherri is quite easily an outlier tbh, and even then Husk already screwed Val enough before that. Val also beats up Angel Dust as much as he breathes, so wdym with him?
It'd also make no sense for regular Sinners to equal Overlords at all given their portrayal.

Wish she'd pick a side on the 'does killing a character actually matter' part of writing. Unironically one of the scenes I didn't like was Husk tied to the train tracks cause realistically that should at worst be a bit of back pain for him
Vivzie really writes out of passion and impulses, which I mean, fair enough, but you need to have a lil bit of structure and plan ahead

you can see the size problem in the final fight, the anti-spiral planet is visible even from galaxies away (and it is even on the head of the galactic size mech)yet that planet is not a galactic size planet or something.
Also Lord genome is also visible and we don't argue that he is the size of the stars or the mech is way smaller (and the final scene has the mechs go down from big to small...with one of them being a planetary size mech going out of the galactic size mech), aka Size problem
Verses are allowed to have big planets
their planet is not big (it is confusing to be honest), the moon was changed and it came to live and is now near earth atmosphere...so is the sun, yet neither of them are considered smaller than their original counterparts.
Now this is just funny! Can you see Universe 1 from Universe 2? The answer is no. False equivalence.
I AM TALKING ABOUT SIZE PROBLEMS.
None of them do. OPM and OP are literally just big planets.
Opm got rejected for the planet being big, is just the cities covering entire continents.
Because you can ******* look up and both can see the other. Even planets can't do this shit, you're lucky we aren't calling them moons.
because that will be lying and making stuff up

Unironically it's pretty hard to argue size inconsistency for somethin unless it's to an actual comedic effect, like I could take 5 different scenes of the Lupin III moon and end up with like 8 different sizes for it. At that point you just have to assume everything is default sized or else you lose all sense of reason
Yeah this is especially true for a drawing style as cartoony and extreme as Vivzie's

Husk isn't really much different either, he wasn't stomping those Shark sinners and regular gun fire is portrayed as a big threat to him.

Like tier 8 gunfire gets some passes. Tier 6? I dunno about that.

Ah, so an outlier in the setting, not every ******* episode of a show showing that this thing cannot be a universe because we can see it every episode without being in any special place or thing

I AM TALKING ABOUT SIZE PROBLEMS.
And I am talking about how if you can see a universe in the sky of another universe, that straight up cannot be a universe.

So, I ask again: CAN YOU SEE UNIVERSE 1 FROM UNIVERSE 2 IN DRAGON BALL?!?!
because that will be lying and making stuff up
Like you are?

Husk isn't really much different either, he wasn't stomping those Shark sinners and regular gun fire is portrayed as a big threat to him.
Tbh his Season 1 self has way less crazy portrayal and uses way less magic. Probably can be dismissed as outlier as well.
Sounds as lame excuse but this guy went toe-to-toe with those who could fight off strongest Sinner for quite some time sooo...?

Like tier 8 gunfire gets some passes. Tier 6? I dunno about that.
I'm pretty sure there are verses far worse than that regarding this tbh...

Ain't they the same guys who couldn't break open the Hotel's door lol
I don't think they are, no. If I don't misremember, those were just random goons with no economic power or influence, and we know that those things (The systemic power that you have over other souls) are what make sinners powerful. Which is the reason why Angel Dust is powerful since he's a star. That's probably the best explanation of how power works in the Hellaverse, seeing the way Vox's power fluctuates according to the public opinion.
