Well, this has been bothering me for quite a while, so I hope you can answer it (if you’re knowledgeable about this kind of thing). Let’s say there’s a character who has resistance to things like paralysis, poison, mind manipulation, possession, and so on. This resistance comes from her ability to separate one thing into two, or separate one thing from another , basically, Fissionism. Her power works on both physical and conceptual levels.
So, she can remove poison or paralysis from her body through this ability, and the same goes for possession or mind manipulation.
My question is, would layered abilities still work on her regardless, or would they be ineffective due to her resistance not being a conventional one, but rather a result of her Fissionism? (Of course, excluding power nullification.)
