You could have a type 2 concept of a specific single grain of sand. A universal concept is universal in its sphere on influence, which from a human perspective can be fairly localized. If the alteration of the concept affects all objects that participate in it, and vice-versa, it's a type 2 concept.

Didn't he erase Yoshida for a brief moment when he ate him alongside octopus? Would that also qualify for type 3 or Type 2 already encompasses type 3?

By consuming a type 2 you erase any type 3s automatically cause, using the same example, if you get rid of all hair it still encompasses the hair on some guy also so that would be removed too

Well, that's what's said on the Regeneration page: "the ability to passively heal oneself from wounds at an accelerated rate".

But no, it doesn't really matter. I've seen other pages list it like that so I did as well . Plus, Denji has regen either way as per the Devil/Hybrid Physiology page.

Yeah i read that, but healing page also specifically points out that healing is different from regeneration because it can be used on others and not just yourself.

Just got back from the movie and... man, I love Chainsaw Man from the bottom of my heart. This series has had an impact on me since the day I began reading it, and seeing it get adapted and brought to life is heartwarming and incredibly entertaining. A lot of analogies, improved action scenes, comedy, the execution of the romance... man, I'd watch it again and again if I had the time. I can't stress enough how much I've come to love this series and its creator, Fujimoto, as a whole. He's very inspiring and batshit insane, the qualities I love about him, and some of those I see in myself as well. This work was incredibly tasteful, and I can't wait until it releases digitally so I can relish it again. To add to that, the soundtracks were amazing and super entertaining, and they made me feel so hyped when the fights began. The English VAs did a phenomenal job, especially Ryan Colt Levy's Denji and Alexis Tipton's Reze. This film was nothing but emotional, entertaining, and full of crazy, batshit animation and fight sequences, and I loved it.

Powerscaling wise, I was surprised I wasn't really thinking about powerscaling at all during the movie. I was just so excited that it came to my country, especially after Melissa had devastated it. It felt like reaching something that was supposed to be unobtainable. However, Reze should be getting some huge combat and ability upgrades, and with that huge ass mushroom cloud that Denji tanked, we're looking good into 8-A. And no, it scales to 8-A no matter what your calcs say, because it's my favorite number. The fight scenes were insane and really showed how she gets down in combat and it was also nice to see her base speed at play. It was very impressive when she dashed behind Makima and how fast she was in general. I need y'all, looking at you @Acertainbcplayer, to fill me in on all those calcs you've been working on, along with anyone else who's been at it since the movie.


The look on my friends faces when Reze bit off Denji's tongue was priceless , they loved her and hated Makima for killing her. Man, this movie was a gift. That Jane Doe song is stuck in my head, and it's making me so sad. Sadly, the post-credits didn't show anything for season 2, but I'll be glad to be patient. We really do love Chainsaw Man, don't we?
