Devil Hunter suits don't protect the wearer completely even in areas where it covers. Katana Man who is High 8-C was still able to heavily injure Aki through the suit, though it's worth noting that the attack Katana Man used is able to easily cut off limbs from opponents as durable as him while Aki remained intact, so the suit still came in clutch there. Butcher's heat vision also upscales from his AP and is hotter than 3500°C, so Aki will have to be very careful with it regardless.

Why is Aki's suit 8-B+ is the guy that hurt him is High 8-C+? Even Power's profile reflects this saying she scale to Aki's suit and has a listing is "At most High 8-C+" with it.
