I liked the idea more of when Stolas was a villain, would've made his "hypocrisy" make more sense, and their relationship wouldn't have been as half-assed as it is rn.

HH pilot negs the series, and to be hones HB season 1 was actually great, with some problems, though the ideas from Pilot would've definitely made it 500x better.

iirc, the HH pilot was actually mostly written by someone called Kendraws, though not 100% sure, and for HB pilot I really know nothing.

i disagree, the pilot is the worse BY FAR of the entire show, since it is just the introduction (and the characters have no backstory basically), people who say that the pilot was better, is mostly because of nostalgia

The HB pilot is anything but the HH one is much better.
Even in the cooler episodes, like the one with the Cherubim's return, they had to share the episode with the Stolas and Blitzo plot.
I can't stand this anymore.
Man, I think 70% of the second season is Stolas vs. Blitzo bullshit.

I loved Helluva Pilot and some of S1, I would have enjoyed it if she kept the same edgy action comedy of it rather than Stolitz

Unironically speaking, of the 7-C dudes, I think Adam beats almost all of them barring 15-16 finger Sukuna (even then I think its a toss up of who gets their first shot off first) and Yuta when he's in Gojo's body for all the same reasons why Adam would never beat Gojo. Most of them are just gonna be Adam AP and range stomping them cause most JJK characters are 6x weaker than him in all their stats and also have barely any range. Some of them have abilities that could work to beat him but they'd have to hit him and a dude who can fly and range spam is something most of them can't deal with.making Adam run the 7-C JJK Gauntlet

I’m curious how it goes with Yuji though since he can send attack the soul with his dismantles right? Or is it just his cleaves?

His soul attacks are bs and useless to normal sorcerers, many characters tank and heal them

Sorcerers can protect their souls subconsciously, it's not good enough to be immune to idle transfiguration but can resist it's effects somewhat to the point he needs to touch you around 3 times for it to take effect, but it should be enough to outlast Yuji's punches pre awakening. You also have to factor in that Yuji only gets his soul cleaves and dismantles against sukuna. Who he himself is aware of his soul which makes it useless to attack his soul directly since he can just shrug it off.
Nobody in the verse aside from sukuna has fought awakened yuji, but we're told that he's using the exact same technique that he used against mahito, which in off itself was affect mahito's soul directly until Mahito's binding vow made it so Yuji needed black flash's to damage him
Combine that with the fact that Yuji has better reaction speed, the dismantles are invisible (i think) and Adam actively fights like he's invisible

I don't really think he gets higher than Genius till now, he hasn't done something more extraordinary than he did in the pilot or season 1.
