Let's change that.

Hello. SSB64 here, running my first ever Tourney..... With a twist.

See, unlike a normal Tourney, the rules have flipped. If you win a match, you're eliminated from the Tourney. Only the absolute weakest character will win!

The only rule that must be followed is that every character must be 9-C. That, and if any Ties/Incons happen, both characters are eliminated. Plus, if the two Finalists Incon, then the two eliminated Semi-Finalists will duke it out instead (This process repeats with each preceding until a match has a W/L conclusive outcome,) so don't fret if you're taken out. The one who's head is planted into the dirt the most wins!

Yep. Basically at the end of Hunter Exam Arc there is like 9 people that made it to its last phase (out of like, hundreds of people) and then they made a tournament where you were "eliminated" after winning a match. thus the person who "won" the tournament would not be able to become a hunter

something like that it's been over a decade since i watched that anime
