Diablo to me, fells like a banned verse on power scaling. Maybe it's because of religious stuffIt needs people to make calcs + scaling, and to make profiles.
There is a collaboration thread for Blizzard franchises here:

Blizzard verses need help
******* BLIZZARRRRD! SHIT! Figured I'd give the thread the perfect opening it deserves. So yeah, Blizzard verses are in a piss poor state right now, lacking major profiles or just being ancient. https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/World_of_Warcraft This is only here in case people want to like...vsbattles.com
Trust me religious isn't the reason nothing happens with Diablo. It's because it's a blizzard verse so nobody gives an FDA-Certified ****.Diablo to me, fells like a banned verse on power scaling. Maybe it's because of religious stuff
I remember seeing a thread of yours about Blizzard lore passages that needed revision. I’m completely available when it comes to Diablo. There used to be profiles for the verse, but they were 5-B scaling to the World Stone. And we're from like 2015, so they got nuked.

Well, it's a verse that needs to be made from the ground up. Right now, we have High 8-C and Low 2-C squared away, for people who aren't one of the Archangels of X, or comparable to one of the seven evils, their entire scaling needs to be figured out.I remember seeing a thread of yours about Blizzard lore passages that needed revision. Don’t worry about that, as long as the structure is analyzed from the ground up, we can separate each element into its proper place.Well, it's a verse that needs to be made from the ground up. However, I’ve already noticed that certain calculations don’t really match the actual nature of the subject. I’d suggest leaving calculation based approaches for very specific cases, while the ontological quality of the narrative should be handled with great care. I can take care of that, but at the moment I’m busy, though I will definitely bring up more topics in the future. As does Lifting Strength and Speed as a whole. Currently I'm on Hypersonic speed because meteors but I'm not 100% sure. Don't really know of any lifting feats though.
Yeah that's why I haven't done it, because Diablo warrants a Cosmology Blog since people do actually scale to it. There's also a lot of ****** up scaling to replace the Blizzard standard of one quintillion retcons.Don’t worry about that, as long as the structure is analyzed from the ground up, we can separate each element into its proper place.

WoW uh...Some retcons don’t really affect the overall structure; sometimes the analysis of a subject doesn’t even need to take a specific retcon into account.
I’m not sure about WoW, but with Diablo, for example, there are very minor contextual changes that don’t alter the bigger picture. In fact, the in-game books present information through an interpretive semantic lens, shaped by a world that’s constantly boiling with different beliefs and perspectives. That alone is a good reason to approach the work with caution.
Good night! But trust me, when the time comes, I’ll open up some interesting topics. That said, good night!
WoW uh...

The older something is, the more careful you have to be. If you don't triple check every source or plan out the entire scaling chain of a character, you end up with something incoherent. Diablo generally you don't have to be that careful. You don't get situations like Mannoroth 1v1ing Cenarius in the War of the Ancients but getting one-shot by Grommash, who while amped needed an army to take Cenarius on.
.
Things get worse before they get better, basically.
Good night!
A lot of it is Rule of Cool. Mannoroth 1v1ing Cenarius evenly is that, it's just that when you go into as much of a deep dive as powerscaling requires, things get very, VERY screwed up. Some of it is just what you're describing, like with the clusterfuck that happened to Maiev, but some of it is Rule of Cool.A lot of this comes down to confusion from lore curators. I don’t know WoW that well, but I can strictly say when a work is truly affected: it’s when previously established events are ignored by a specific curatorial group.
Not trying to be controversial, but being honest, the same thing happens a lot in comics. Writers end up in conflict or don’t follow the established continuity in a coherent way. Many retcons also happen when a company is just chasing profit and starts creating approaches that don’t fit within its own system. The canon becomes messy, and the only option left is a reset. Some work, but the narrative structure ends up completely messed up.
See you when you wake up lmfao, good nightThis time I’m actually going to sleep haha.
