Question for y'all, would a Hashira Training (not post Hashira Training) key for Tanjiro be fine? The reason I ask is that since the anime is considered main canon (I think), in it we have Tanjiro in base somewhat keeping up with Tengen (albeit he was still a little inferior). So a potential Hashira Training Key Tanjiro would be 7-C in base via downscaling from Tengen, and High 7-C with the demon slayer mark.

Another way this could be looked at is that since this happens very early into the Hashira Training, Tanjiro wouldn't be much different to his Post-Type Zero training self, so this feat in turn can be given to Post-Type Zero Training Tanjiro, which would make his base 7-C and his Demon Slayer Mark High 7-C, although this probably affects the scaling dramatically (like possibly 7-B and FTL top tiers I think, although I'm probably wrong), so I'm not really sticking that hard for this one and am leaning more for a Hashira Training key.

The anime is only the primary canon over the manga for Mugen Train, and secondary canon for everything else. While we could make another key for early HTA Tanjiro, frankly Tanjiro already has an excessive number of keys and doesn’t need more.

Nah it was Base Obanai who kept up with SCA Mitsuri (misspoke if you are referring to my earlier explanation from the prior thread) - Giyu was marked during that part of the story. Or alternatively Base Sanemi keeping up better than Marked Muichiro.
