Before it's asked, both Itachi and Malekith have the required layers of resistance to illusions to not think or gesture and instantly hax the opponent in their primary haxlord ways.

Da Rules:

1. Speed is Equalized​
2. Malekith is in his second key​
3. Itachi is in his Edo Tensei key with potential to switch to Part 1.​
4. Because both of these characters have things well above their tier I'm not restricting anything unless necessary​
5. Both are physically 6-C​
6. Start 5 meters away because if I don't they'll be throwing nuclear bombs at eachother​
7. Both characters have full prior knowledge on what the other person is physically, their reputation/legend, and the general gist of their power systems. (Knowing what the other person is means that they also know how old the other person is, and what abilties they have from just their bodies, like Witchsight for Malekith or Regen for an Edo Tensei)​

Aethyr is yes on every degree except a plot one, so it would equalize to Chakra. Aethyr equalizes to everything, for better or worse.

I still don't really know how to treat Aethyr. For now, it's treated as a fundamental supernatural source that counters other supernatural energies, because Warhammer 'Magic' is fundamentally advanced reality warping, utilizing your ability to manipulate a fundamental and essential energy that affects reality on a conceptual level.

He can make a clone into a weapon to use for that, something Kid Naruto at the start of the series could do against Zabuza. If that doesn't work the Susano'o has swords though that might make a really odd sword fight given the size difference. Also yeah, the mind reading is gonna be a pain in the ass though precog helps there a little bit since it helps him adapt to a change of plans faster.

As for fighting style, could go either way but Malekith's combat-applicable Witchsight would be pretty hard to copy and mimic so he'd retain an advantage if he was copied by virtue of Itachi not being able to see the Aethyr like he does

Straight up I have no idea, The Flame of Asuryan is basically the concept of Fire itself being applied to someone to the point it burns their soul.

Malekith didn't necessarily resist that, it's why he has the armor, but he didn't DIE from it, and he also didn't die from Teclis deciding to reignite said Flame of Asuryan on his ass. Chances are Amaterasu is going to be painful, since every fire is painful for Malekith that's why his chambers in his tower aren't well lit, but it ultimately won't do anything except piss him off.

Mind you, this was after Malekith was 1v1ing Tyrion and winning, and to put into perspective how impressive that is, Tyrion throughout every book in that trilogy has been effortlessly butchering everything short of N'kari which is a Greater Daemon you do not **** with lightly, which includes High Elf duelists, Dark Elf duelists, and basically every giant monster he could get his hands on. Malekith showed up and started winning that melee until Teclis dealt with Morathi and see above.

BTW I'm fairly certain Malekith does have a lot of heat resistance(best in the verse short of literal incarnates of Fire) it's just the fact it still hurts him because it's adding to the flame constantly ignited under his armor.
