The_Incredibles_%282004_animated_feature_film%29.jpg

Both Pixar and Disney already has general threads, but I figured that being the most combat-centric verse and my favorite film (especially the original) of former animation studio, The Incredibles deserves to have their own. Besides, it really doesn't have much active CRTs.

I mostly published this for discussing potential revisions, page updates, profile additions (fodders can survive being thrown through several walls and move in tandem with lasers), new feats with non-accepted calculations (like punching the Omnidroid and Gamma Jack's recently-checked bursts; a shame adverts cannot be used cause Buddy reacted to him), supplementary media (such as comics and games), and many such.

Neat (y)
Don’t think it scales to anyone else though, as I doubt he’d want to potentially risk destroying the planet in his fight against the Omnidroid
That, or he was depressed and having an identity crisis due to not having a secret identity to fall back on when supers became illegal, resulting in him giving up fighting when it was revealed it was all a ploy to kill him

Someone a few years ago calced Bob reacting to Jack Jack at FTL and Dash has a 100x FTL in the comics, or around there, though the comics are probably not canon especially after the 2nd movie being released. I also think the hypershock town level downgrade is weird, since it just says it's the power of his fists being a Richter scale of 6, and Bob is just considered indestructible by everything the NSA knows, which would include said blows. Not gonna argue for it though, thought i'd leave my thoughts.

If it was up to me, it'd be like:

Town level (Scales above Hypershock who [insert explanation about earthquake]. Has a maxed out indestructability stat, implying that nothing the NSA knows of could kill him, which'd include the aforementioned Hypershock statement), FTL reactions (Dodged Jack Jack's laser point blank. Should somewhat scale to Dash's super speed, which could process multiple days in less than a second). The indestructable stuff could maybe imply some resistance to the other Super's powers.

I've tried seeing if I could find evidence that He-lectrix uses actual lightning:

He says he uses lightning bolts.

The Incredibles 2: The Official Guide also claims he uses lightning bolts:

The Pixar Character Encyclopedia: Updated and Expanded makes a similar statement:

The junior novelization indicates that his powers are ineffective on non-conductive materials:

Some miscellaneous feats from the Crisis in Midlife! storyline from the Incredibles 2 Dark Horse Comics tie-in:
It is established that Mr. Incredible's greatest feat of strength during "the glory days" was when he held up a toppling "Swordfish-class" nuclear submarine:

In the present day, Mr. Incredible has considerably more trouble replicating that feat with a submarine that is stated to be three tons lighter:

It is subsequently made very clear that Bob is past his physical prime:

During a training session, Dash indicates that he can use his speed to pull air away from an area that he runs in a circle around:

Bob's enhanced lung capacity and ability to create shockwaves is brought up, and Violet is unable to sustain her forcefield against more than a few of his punches:

He states that he was going easy on her:

Dash uses his speed to shift boulders:

Bob and Helen hold together damaged support beams that are keeping a building up:

Violet is barely able to contain the explosion of two of Bomb Voyage's bombs, but it's not a sustainable method for her to continue using to deal with the bombs:

It’s pretty clear Bob is basically the verse’s Gojo. It’s not just the blatant stuff posted above me. It is made clear that he’s the biggest threat to Syndrome and the Omni-Droid (only super with a threat level of 10), in general Syndrome seems to think he’s the strongest super, he’s got the highest stats for physicality in the NSA files and he’s also the only one noted for being “nearly indestructible” (notable not even Universal Man gets this honor). One more thing is Edna gives him preferential treatment.

Not to say Bob is the strongest because obviously Snydrome and the Omni-Droid are stronger. Jack Jack might be as well, but that’s harder to say

Town level (Mr. Incredible is stronger than Frozone who could do this [link to calc] and Gamma Jack who did this [link to calc]. Repeatedly stated to be the greatest and strongest superhero of all time, and indestructible by the NSA, putting him above Hypershock who can produce magnitude 6 earthquakes with his fists. Syndrome defeated Hypershock with a much weaker Omni Droid, which went through multiple evolutions throughout a long period of time to finally be able to match Mr. Incredible), possibly Multi-Continent level (As he cannot be defeated and is indestructible, he should scale above someone who can turn his own density into a Black Hole)
FTL (Dodged Jack Jack's laser point blank. Can keep up with Dash's superspeed who can process days in less than a second). CINEMA.

Another person to Bully Homelander! Anyway, i'll be off, do @ me on the future upgrade thread.

I just saw this one reel that said Mr. Incredible is stated to have the power to forsee dangerous events, which is why he can feel the bomb coming, and can feel that Ms. Incredible is there.

don't know why Mr Incredible should be scaling to a clear hax ability (Black Hole) when Universal Man's actual strength in the same photo is shown to be utterly trash.

Ngl problems with both of these ratings 1) upscaling frozones ice creation doesn't really work since its not some UES shit or something he himself scales to in a physical way at best could be possibly
2)that isn't even dura thats just hax

I'd reject both of these an a thread that attempted to go these routes however there is some good shit in this discussion thread that will yield solid upgrades

Hypershock especially

For reference, Syndrome gave the following threat ratings to supers he was targeting (not all ratings were shown), from highest to lowest:
  • Mr. Incredible: 9.1
  • Gamma Jack: 7.9
  • Hypershock: 7.5
  • Stormicide 6.7
  • Apogee: 6.5
  • Downburst: 6.5
  • Elastigirl: 6.2
  • Macroburst: 5.9
  • Blazestone: 5.5
  • Phylange: 4.7
  • Everseer: 3.2
  • Universal Man: 2.9
  • Psycwave: 1.6
The Omnidroid models had the following performances:
  • Omnidroid v.X1: Terminated Universal Man, Psycwave, and Everseer; defeated by Macroburst
  • Omnidroid v.X2: Terminated Macroburst, Phylange, and Blazestone; defeated by Downburst
  • Omnidroid v.X3: Terminated Downburst; defeated by Hypershock
  • Omnidroid v.X4: Terminated Hypershock, Apogee, Blitzerman, Tradewind, and Vectress; defeated by Gazerbeam
  • Omnidroid v.X5: Terminated Gazerbeam and Stormicide, defeated by Gamma Jack
  • Omnidroid v.X6: Terminated Gamma Jack
  • Omnidroid v.X7: Unknown record
  • Omnidroid v.X8: Defeated by Mr. Incredible
  • Omnidroid v.X9: Defeated Mr. Incredible
  • Omnidroid v.X10: Defeated by the Incredibles and Frozone
So judging by his threat rating and his ability to defeat a more advanced Omnidroid, Gamma Jack presumably scales above Hypershock. While we don't know Gazerbeam's threat rating, we can infer from his own performance against Omnidroids that he might scale above Hypershock, but below Gamma Jack.

Honestly I hope we can get profiles for the RSA tapes/Kronos heroes, I've still got my original Incredibles DVD (plus special features) and it's nice seeing a new gen being exposed to old content that has been around for years but was difficult to access these days (until recently).

Before anyone asks we've got profiles for characters that have literally never appeared in their verses and/or have zero feats/lore. So there's zero issues to index characters that have voice acting, brief appearances/cameos in the verse, clear statements of their P&As and a few of those characters (such as Gazerbeam and those who fell victim to CAPES) actually contributed to major plot points in the verse.

And although it's not canon we can still use Lego Incredibles (yes I'm serous, it's still an official release and product) as a frame of reference of how other Supers would've used their powers in combat.
