Pac-Man General Discussion Thread: 46 Years of Chompin' (SNACK BREAKS)

The argument for tier 2 Pacman is solid but it seems kind of outlier-ish. Then again. Kirby's 2-C rating (just as an example) comes from only 1 feat of destruction as well...

Visually not that impressed but lets hope the tunes are much better. Did anyone else feel that the music for repac 1 was dull?

As far as I tell, the main/Pac-Village theme itself seems to be remixed in a trailer. Voice acting did catch me off-guard while watching a Direct live yesterday. (welcome back, Martin Sherman)

Spooky never looked so good in his whole thousand-year life.

So in Adventures in Time, if the player takes too long to beat the level, the game will eventually display warning messages saying: "Blinky/Inky/Pinky/Clyde Approaching". Afterwards, the aforementioned ghosts will appear in the level and replace their corresponding time-period lookalikes. This is basically a way to punish the player for taking too long to beat the stages.

Since this indicates that the Ghost Gang is somehow tagging Pac-Man across the different time periods that the game takes place in, I think they should have the Time Travel ability.

Pretty good so far, predictably even better than the previous remake.

And if that's not all, a earlier analysis blog just got a Re-Pac 2 update that may contain spoilers. Same goes for another related to the secret boss fight in a same Reddit post, so be careful.

At least it's impressive how base Pac fought and defeated a Golden Fruit-empowered Spooky in the NG+ mode. May warrant quite a upgrade, with his golden form upscaling. (which itself, as a blog puts it, provides permanent regen nullification in this version)

As far as I can tell, Spooky has the following new abilities:

Base:
-Explosion Manipulation (Fired a blast which blew up the Golden Fruit Tree)
-More advanced Electricity Manipulation (He can actually use it to form complex attacks this time, rather than being a side effect of Weather Manipulation. He can also just shoot it out of his staff)
-Natural Weaponry (Uses his claws in combat)
-Necromancy (Raises various skeleton warriors from the ground)
-Ability to emit a shockwave to repel enemies who get too close (Probably just an application of Air Manipulation)
-Whatever this meteor thing is, it seems to be his strongest attack, as he was confident in using it after Pac-Man got ahold of the Golden Fruits
With the Golden Fruits:
-Large Size (Type 1. I estimate he becomes around 25 meters tall? Might be wrong though)
-Duplication (Can create clones of himself, which can hurt Pac-Man)
-Shockwave Generation (Creates circular shockwaves by raising chunks of earth in the air and letting them crash down)
-Further Explosion Manipulation (Can create massive cracks in the ground, which then burst with energy)
-Energy Projection (Gets a "laser eyes" attack)

So yeah, I've been assisting for Extinction Events in this composite blog (probably the biggest I was on), which also has not just up-to-date Ghostly Adventures research, but also new haxes and counters against Luigi. (but at the cost of old ones that may change up here in future)

Perhaps we should go through Frogger's canon stuff to see what would work in this wiki's potential profile.

Oh yeah, forgot to tell that the first part of a Sonic DLC is released some time ago.

Never thought such obscure character could actually return (and in her original name, too).
