2 ice merchants. Interesting.
Shoto uses fire gg
Not quite. Luna fought people like Human Torch and Phoenix.

Now as for how the match would go, Luna should just be able to use her clap and one oneshot dink Shoto. Along with that, Luna should be able to heal pretty much any punishment dealt to Luna.

Shoto has far more range, far more stamina and is smarter, he would eventually overwhelm/outlast her, i think he takes this
No... his ass wouldn't even be dealing that much damage to Luna to be fair.
Do you forget that Luna can heal herself???

Who has the AP advantage? Shoto's biggest edge here is that Rivals fighters have crappy heat resistance as well as the fact that Shoto has extremely superior agility compared to Luna. Look at the crap he was pulling against Leviathan after all.

naah, i didnt, i think his attacks can do enough especially with Flashfire Fist and Flashfreeze Heatwave(which he can really abuse, since Luna is also using ice). Also PLUS ULTRA
With a 6.8× gap in AP? Hopefully the sheer heat of his attacks can help with the power difference.

Until that gets settled Shoto has a massive edge in that category.
Even then, Endeavor was able to burn Hood to a crisp, weaken All For One, and severely damage incomplete Shigaraki, who has both high-speed regeneration and physical stats on par with Prime All Might. His firepower was even compared to Star and Stripe’s laser attack, which instantly vaporized part of the ocean .

Dabi scales even higher, as it’s stated multiple times that his blue flames burn hotter than Endeavor’s and can hurt despite endeavour’s and shoto’s fire resistance, despite being unstable and self-destructive. Yet Shoto was not only able to tank Dabi’s fire but also overpower him with his own combined flame-and-ice technique. Using Phosphor, he managed to cool down Dabi, despite the latter’s record of high-end fire feats.

And was even compared to stars and stripes laser attack which vaporized ocean instantly. Dabi scales and stated to be even above endeavour with his blue flames and shoto was able tank and hurt Dabi with his insane flames. And actually cool down dabi with his phosphorous even with dabis insane fire feats
even way back in the Vigilantes era — before the main My Hero Academia story — Endeavor was already built different. He used Prominence Burn to straight-up vaporize multiple plasma energy clones from number 6. These things weren’t even made of solid matter — they were pure energy constructs, made of plasma, (10,000 °C to 30,000 °C) Endeavor burned through it instantly. That means his flames got to be hitting well over 30,000 °C, maybe even up in the 50,000 °C+ range, which is fusion reactor or solar flare territory i think.

Shoto according to All Might, his flames are equal to Endeavor’s. Shoto tanked and countered Dabi’s blue flames, which are confirmed to be even hotter than Endeavor’s.

Whether this heat resistance CRT is accepted or not is irrelevant, since Todoroki's fire isn't just a heat, but also has force and impact, especially with the FlashFire Fist attacks. This means she will be injured if hit her
( spoiler : it will )

That said, I'm voting for Shoto.

FlashFire's Amp is much more massive than people give it credit for. In WHM, Leviathan didn't even move when hit by Shoto normal fire and ice attacks, and even after receiving a FlashFreeze HeatWave to the face, Leviathan still kept fighting.

Note: Not only does FlashFreeze HeatWave have a higher AP than Todoroki normal Attacks, but it's also the same attack that defeated Deku in a Power Clash in their first fight in Season Two, even though Deku himself said he was using his maximum at the time.

Returning to the Leviathan fight, before using FlashFire Fist Jet Kindling on Leviathan, Shoto claimed it was his strongest attack, and it was no surprise that a single Jet King One-Shot Leviathan out. That was in the past. In the Final Arc, Todoroki mastered the Flash Fire Fist technique, and we see in the War that Todoroki has no problem spamming Flash Fire Fist attacks in his opponents.

Shoto also has his Great Glacial Aegir, which in the most recent Databook was said to be his version of Prominence Burn.

Prominence Burn has a drastically higher AP than Endeavor's own Flash Fire. As we know, Endeavor and Shoto are relative to each other.

And with Plus Ultra, Todoroki can become even stronger by surpassing his own limits.

Speaking of Flash Fire, he's also a Speed Amp, don't forget that. Thanks to his mobility, acrobatics, RANGE, superior BiQ, and Flight (Shoto can also use his own fire and ice attacks to neutralize her attacks), Luna will have a Hard time hitting Shoto even once.

The 6x APGap won't be an advantage for her; any attack from Shoto would annihilate Luna, and even if she survives:

She won't have the stamina to withstand the pain, and even if she's a Support, Todoroki could attack her consecutively with massive attacks faster than she could react, overwhelming her healing.

Finally, Shoto's Ice can restrain characters with Class P strength, and since Luna doesn't have this Level of Strenght, once she's caught by Shoto's Ice, the fight is instantly over.

Imo, this matchup seems to be in a limbo state until Luna and Todoroki's temperature levels are worked out, as that is pretty much the overall deciding factor in the matchup. Until then though, I feel we should wait for this stuff to get accepted and applied to both profiles

Yeah, I didn't know CRT is still ongoing. How long are CRTS? Because endeavour's flames are hot enough to Out-heat or over-energize that plasma Or inject enough thermal/kinetic force to break the cohesion of MANY combusted plasma clones at once (this was at his max power out in vigilantes before main series of mha, so hes probably even stronger since then which this feat easily 50k+ C). He was also compared to Stars and Stripes laser attack which had like 10-12 light speed laser beams combined and quirk boosted into one large beam that vaporized ocean. Shoto has been stated by All Might to have flames equal to Endeavours, and has shown proof by being able to resist, defeat, and fight against Dabi's fire, whose flames are stated to be stronger than Endeavours'. So, his fire/ice powers could well be above those numbers, since he defeated dabi using both. Not to mention, these flames can almost burn to ash an incomplete Tomura, who's prime all might level, weaken All for One, and Hood, who's been compared to USJ Nomu. As the person said above/size not only burns but also has an impact force. So, unless Torch can show off something like that, it's gg.

The Rivals cast might end up getting sun level heats.
The temperature of a star depends on both its type and the specific region being referenced, as not all stars—or areas within them—are equally hot. Additionally, from my experience in games like Marvel Rivals and other media appearances, Johnny Storm’s flames don’t appear to burn or inflict damage the same way Shoto Todoroki’s or Endeavor’s do. In most Marvel canon, Johnny’s powers originate from cosmic radiation, which mutated his physiology and allows him to generate and control superheated plasma, rather than traditional combustion-based fire like that of Shoto or Endeavor. In My Hero Academia, fire-based attacks have physical force—they don’t just burn; they send people and objects flying with explosive impact. This distinction is important: Shoto’s and Endeavor’s flames cause direct concussive force and severe thermal damage, meaning if a character like Luna were struck by their fire, the result would be far more devastating than being hit by Johnny Storm’s standard plasma flames (Shoto and Endeavor’s flames don’t just burn — they hit with explosive force strong enough to launch people, similar to attacks from prime All Might-tier characters. So for someone like Luna to withstand their fire, she’d need resistance to both extreme heat and the physical impact of the blast.) As for Shoto’s ice, it’s arguably just as strong—if not stronger—than his fire, given that it’s capable of countering Dabi’s overwhelming heat and offers greater battlefield control through immobilization and environmental manipulation.

Well, it depends on which part of the sun you’re talking about and the type of star, since not all stars or solar regions are equally hot.
We would assume normal yellow star levels of heat. Johnny does yell supernova when he ults. Plus, the other possible star level heat girl, jean gray might also have star level heats as well.

Ah, I see. How long until the CRT is finished? Also, if she doesn’t have much impact/explosion resistance she would have deal with always getting knock backed, forceful pressure, and momentum-based damage every single fire attack shoto throws. She will likely wouldn’t take burn damage — assuming her heat resistance is above laser or plasma-level heat like Endeavor’s — she would still feel the physical impact. That impact could be comparable to an attack from 100% Deku (at the start of series) or Hood, the High-End Nomu with regeneration, who is stronger than the USJ Nomu that fought All Might — the same Nomu that All Might had to go Plus Ultra to defeat and which he punched through multiple walls and structures. Since Endeavour (and shoto scales to endeavours fire) could launch hood with his fire attacks.

Also, I forgot to mention that Shoto’s ice has been shown to restrain opponents with Class P strength — meaning it’s strong enough to hold or immobilize characters capable of tearing through solid structures. If Luna doesn’t have comparable strength or durability, there’s a good chance the ice could crush/immobilize/hold or even rip her apart if she struggles against it. On top of that, Shoto has significantly greater range than Luna. He could easily keep his distance and spam large-scale ice or fire attacks, just like he did against Deku during the U.A. Sports Festival. Unless she has a hard counter to his zone control, she’d be overwhelmed before ever getting close. this how shoto fights typically btw

That’s actually a really good point, even if Luna’s cold resistance is superior to his ice temp, it’d be hard for her to get out of it due to that massive LS difference.

Honestly, if that’s the case, I think Shoto might win by incaping her regardless of what temperatures they both wind up at. (Always the ******* LS meta…)
