It's stopped being funny for me Li'l D is actually such a dogshit localization. How can you take any scene with her seriously now? It's like localization for 2000s children's anime it's so stupid. Fami was unnecessary but Li'l D actively harms the reading experience in my eyes.

Well no she didn't, she chose the name Shi-chan. Ms. Amanda (Viz's translator for CSM) took the liberty of localizing that as L'il D. And that localization sounds utterly ridiculous, something out of a gag series.
Shi-chan should've just been kept as-is. If localizing it was absolutely necessary then Anything would be better. Dee? Deedee?

I think its a bit too early to jump the gun
characters with goofy nicknames can still be menacing and serious, look at obito for example. Nobody would look at Tobi and think its menacing but Obito can be super serious still

This is presumably going to be her primary alias and what Denji and others who know her personally call her by, just as was the case with Kiga-chan (Fami). I'm not gonna wait to see how often she gets called by an insanely stupid name before I express how stupid said name is.

Also genuinely I think Yoru being that much slower than her weaponification when she's reacted to it before (its still turning into a weapon by the time she closes her hand in that one panel) is silly. I feel like if we aren't willing to have FTL+ Yoru then that feat should just be deemed an outlier

I just realized that Yoru won against Falling in Rock Paper Scissors that's why she said "I won" and turned Falling into her clothing. What if she doesn't just need to own someone anymore, but just need to win in any way possible to just freaking turn them into her things? If clothing is possible I think it's possible that Yoru's ability is now:
"I win" -> "You're now my stuff, so I can turn you into MY STUFF" -> Yoru can turn anyone she's won against into her property, not only weapons anymore.
This would be crazy ngl.

The more I'm thinking about it the more it makes sense. Yoru is War, so:
Stage 1: Weak War Devil
Yoru can turn anything she owns into weapons to continue conquering and wage more war
Stage 2: Prime War Devil
Yoru is now strong enough to conquer by herself, so now she'll wage war, conquer and turn the loser into her property
Peak Femdomoto I kneel, Yoru upscale is any day now.

Yoru being FTL+ here doesnt make sense. The FTL+ feat completely blitzed Pochita, and Yoru isnt a blitz tier above Pochita. That also shows that the weaponification speed varies and that falling turning into clothes doesn’t necessarily happen that fast.There's an instance of Yoru reacting to her weaponification speed as well.

I was under the impression Death was calling herself Shi-chan in katakana (as she called herself Kiga in kata) so that her name sounds like Death (Shi) without actually being the character for Death.
But nope in the last page it's literally just Death in kanji. The exact same as in Death Devil. It's 死ーちゃん. Why would you do this as anything other than a gag
