Yes, multiple times. Falling only hit her twice, once when Yoru was standing still, and other when she used her gravity tk. When she tried to attack her again, Yoru grabbed the arm and squished it

She's not weaker, but slower.
Fear scaling doesn't mean everything and Quanxi's speed doesn't entirely come from that. It's shown that humans can become incredibly strong and fast through intense training alone, Kishibe is a prime example. While Quanxi is affected by her devil's fear scaling which contributes to her speed, she's also extremely fast due to training, especially considering her status as the first Devil Hunter and humanity's last hope. It would be disingenuous to claim that Yoru inherently surpasses her in every category of speed, particularly when she lacks comparable feats. At best, you could argue based on explicit showings.
Yoru will be pulling some crazy feats soon enough regardless, so she'll probably be bumping up in the speed sector.

Oh. Now that I think of it, Yoru pretty much overpowered Death's contract/ownership of Falling. I wonder if her ownership of Falling kinda follows the whole "When you win a war, you now rule over the territory", since she said she won the fight/"war" between the two and now owns Falling. Also, no way that she is slower than Quanxi. She got an absurd boost.

It just occurred to me that Death's nickname Lil D will probably cause French CSM fans to burst out laughing. In French, the term la petite mort (little death) is a euphemism for "org@sm". So in the French translation, Death could be construed as basically introducing herself as the Cum Devil.

Fujimoto never intended any deeper meaning when he made the embodiment of the concept of war, born in hell, absolutely head-over-heels for the USA. Singing the american anthem as the americans cheer over bombs falling and the scorched bodies of civillians are lined up had no message he just thought it was cool. Stop inserting political agendas into this manga.
