Classic FF: Bartz Profile Rework and Magic Additions

Hello, in this CRT i'll be going revising some parts of Classic FF and doing other minor stuff.

Updated Bartz profile

  • Added scans, references, justifications and statistic values
  • Added job abilities
  • Added deconstruction to the Rift resistances
  • Added a some resistances to the death immunity
  • Added the weapons he gained during dissida

General Magic Addtions for Classic FF (I-VI)


Vibration Manipulation for all magic users.
Its in this scan
The magic is activated by a chanting of the magician. The basic principle of magic is to cause the atmosphere to vibrate in a way that deviates from the laws of nature by uttering words that cannot be expressed in words, and to use that vibration as a catalyst to twist the logic of all things. If you are a skilled mage, you can easily transfer the natural phenomena you have in your mind to the real world. However, this requires a great deal of mental energy. This is why a product was invented in which the tuning to activate the magic is sealed in advance, so that anyone can handle it. The power of the thrust, the fangs with the cold air of water - everything you can think of is magic.

Thought Based NPI
Magic as it can interact with Zeromus who is the hate of Zemus and Phantom who is formed from thoughts and dreams.

Special Magic classifications

White Magic
Black Magic
Blue Magic
Time Magic

Magic resistance should also include White, Black, Time, Sing and Dark Arts since these are considered forms of it.

Other minor stuff

All Dissidia characters get enhanced acrobatics via Quickmove and Air dash.

Give the final party for FF4 Immo 4 and 8, Healing, Empowerment and Holy Manipulation through prayer as they were given life, vitality, strength and holy power.

FF6 Characters should have Stellar Lifting Strength due to fighting Typhon

Disagree with deconstruction, its unclear how long it would take for something to dissolve into nothingness, but we know its probably a very long time. This scan says that the villagers could survive for a thousand years, so it seems like it takes millenia

Madness Manipulation (Type 3) and Perception Manipulation, Space-Time Manipulation, Deconstruction and Corruption (Type 2) (The Warriors of Light can stay in the Interdimensional Rift for prolonged amounts of time. Those who wander in the Rift go mad, seeing others as monsters and become corrupted, causing a physical change to occur
We don't know what it is that caused Gilgamesh to become like this so I think it shouldn't grant anyone else a resistance to it. Gilgamesh travels through the rift all the time without issue so it seems like there's no guarantee travelling through the Rift will corrupt you like that. Residents of the Phantom Village are also not corrupted, so I think this should be removed

Looks mostly good, but I kind of agree with Hyper atm.
 
Everything looks fine to me, and I share similar thoughts with Hyper. Though by extension we could just copy and paste the P&A for the other characters since they have the same abilities.
 
i have removed all the rift "resistances". the only one left is Time Stop since they have a blatant resistance shown here

Yeah, I wrote it that way with the other profiles in mind. I will copy and paste them over the current ones if that is allowed.

Well done mate, Bartz's new profile looks beautiful. Though my thoughts are shared with Glass and Hyper, though if you have an additional info regarding the rift please post. Count me as agreed.

Also be sure to mention that the general magic additions are for people who scale to the "Crystal Mythos" stuff. Just so people don't get confused.

  • Enhanced Time Stop (via Quick which stops the passage of time for all but the user. This works on even other party members despite their equipment.)
What equipment is this referring to? I'm assuming it works even if you have equipment that grants resistance to Stop? Does it work on enemies that resist Stop too?

Hermes Sandals for party members and its works on Demons of the Rift who resist the Time Stop of the Rift

I should probably clarify mod support wasn't what I was referring to. It was the overall vote count since it's only at 3. If it's fine then no problem.

I just don't want this to be brought up later as someone saying it wasn't properly accepted.
